The Justice Department announced Thursday it will seek the death penalty for a Washington state woman accused of killing a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Vermont, in what federal officials describe as the latest example of a radicalized cultlike group’s deadly violence.

Prosecutors say Teresa Youngblut, 21, of Seattle, is part of the self-styled Zizians, a network of radicals bound by beliefs in veganism, transgenderism, artificial intelligence, and anarchist ideology. Members of the group have been linked to six murders across three states since 2022.

Youngblut is accused of fatally shooting Border Patrol Agent David Maland on January 20, 2025, the same day President Donald Trump was sworn in for a second term and signed an executive order lifting the moratorium on federal executions.

C'est de ralentir. Au sens premier.

Y'a quelques années je vois passer un truc disant 'si on baisse sa vitesse sur autoroute on consomme moins". Oui en effet toustes celleux ayant fait un long trajet et ayant un œil vigilant sur les sous le constatent.

OK, je ralentis. 110 sur autoroute et 90 sur voie rapide. En effet je consomme moins, et en plus je suis moins stressée. Slalommer entre les fous du volant et les camions perso ça me fait flipper.

tout dépend du trajet : l autre jour, on avait 370 km à faire. Le gps nous suggérait de prendre l autoroute en faisant un énorme détour pour gagner 20 min. On a donc pris les départementales, au plus court.
Par contre, je suis pas prête à me passer de l autoroute pour traverser la France (700-850 km). Si on dispose d une semaine de congés pour voir la famille, ça fait perdre 2 jours sur place. Et même si certains paysages sont beaux, la promenade en voiture, bof au bout d' un moment.
On roule souvent à 110 de toute façon parce qu on a le porte vélo.

Comment justifier que le passage en cabinet ministériel, auprès d'un gouvernement, soit à l'origine de promotions, au détriment de magistrats de carrière à l'indépendance acérée ?

Alors même que ce sont ces êtres qui auront, demain, à décider qui, des opposants ou dirigeants, devra ou non être poursuivi, jugé, et donc, condamné ?

Comment imaginer que Madame Caubel ait à un quelconque moment le courage, le désir, la capacité, de refuser une instruction, de s'attaquer à l'un de ceux qui l'ont gouvernée, nommée, faite monter, d'ériger le rempart de l'État de droit pour protéger ceux qu'ils voudraient dévasté ?

Comment ne pas douter de sa compétence, après être arrivée 16e sur 17 dans le classement des candidats au Parquet de Créteil, là où le gouvernement la voulait originellement nommée ?

Comment ne pas craindre un magistrat faible, déjà sans crédibilité au moment d'être nommé, et donc proie à toutes les pressions, toutes les influences, toutes les manipulations ?

Comment faire confiance en un système qui fonctionne de cette façon ?

Capcom-san report card amend: King of Dragons

I said I played KoD for 'a few hours' but that was the odd credit and savestate tussle throughout months.
Been casually routing/grinding it and it opens up very nicely.

Maybe for the genre to click I need to give Streets of Rage a good try to see a more everyman approach: beat'em ups basically clicked in my head instead of during play -use attack hitbox avoid enemy hitbox, let the pieces fit in between.
KoD would also be an unwise endeavor since it is the sole beat'em up I have seen a JP post about how impossible it is, not that I look for those. It was in answer to some concept art being posted
