How is it that SOME Folks actually believe our earth is a Globe that spins 1000+ per hour at the Equator, yet they see no curve on the horizon, They only see flat water on the sea shore and they never feel the earth moving in any direction.

Die #Mona App zeigt mir ziemlich bei der Verwendung mit #Friendica oft die Fehler-Meldung an dass der Beitrag nicht gesendet werden konnte, weil die Netzwerkverbindung unterbrochen wurde, ebenso kommt oft eine Fehlermeldung beim faven, dass das „faven“ fehlgeschlagen ist.
Wenn ich mir das jedoch im Web-Browser ansehe wurde die Nachricht versendet und das Faven ist ebenso erfolgt.
Woran könnte das liegen?

The High Court determined neither the Louisiana and Missouri attorneys general nor the five private individuals who brought the lawsuit had standing to seek an injunction against any of the government defendants.
The message the High Court delivered today. The way I see it, we the people don’t count for anything, and this was one branch of government (judicial) agreeing with another branch of the government (executive) saying it’s OK for the government to collude with Big Tech elites in a way that shuts down free speech in America. Another nail in the coffin.

One of the many wonders of #WHY2025 was the lovely people of Crumpet Camp. Over the course of the event they cooked and served over 250 crumpets to any hungry hacker that came by.

People from all over came by for a tasty British snack. And as I sat there munching on crumpets I listened to the reactions of those trying them for the first time.

After a few dozen. I cracked.

"That's surprisingly good" says someone with an accent indicative of foreign lands.

I'm English (not British) and I think that the only nice food in England has come from another culture. The only 'English' food I can think of is stodgy and tasteless, such as fish and chips, full English (cooked breakfast) or what we call 'Sunday dinner', which is roast meat, boiled root vegetables, Yorkshire pudding (baked pancake) and gravy. Nothing to compare to the tasty food from other cultures. That's why our most popular dish is chicken korma lol.

When it's hot, you chop pineapple, pears, and peaches, then put it in.

After three months of BETA testning the Cyber Espresso, around 200 active users, almost 600 created and customized feeds I conclude and close this chapter of my journey. Now I'm preparing for the official launch which will also bring a few new features I've really missed.

When I started this "project" last year around October I never imagined how much work would be involved, the time required and the hardship of having to prioritize.

But the vision is clear; threat intelligence for cybersecurity professionals. I'm quite frankly tired of "good" intelligence mostly being available to bigger corpos. I want to try and make a dent in this space.

Thank you all who have tried the Espresso, and I look forward to welcome you back in a few weeks when I can finally conclude the service available and online again.
