Americans: You Can Have Your Dictatorship Back Now, Thanks Very Much – George Tsakraklides

tsakraklides.com/2025/02/17/am…

For a people whose country instigated and propped-up countless dictatorships across the world for economic gain, including the one here in Greece I just talked about, Americans sure are clueless about what fascism and dictatorship are. Well, they are finding out as we speak, not through history books, but through direct experience as decades later, dictatorship finally visits US soil. It’s Here.

If this jew refuses, Trump should just walk away and say "fix it yourself, and don't come back."

After a decade of being intimidated by J Kenji Lopez-Alt's "Best Chili Ever," I'm trying it. Had to mail-order several ingredients two weeks in advance. It's in first simmer now; waiting to add the crushed tomatoes and cider vinegar. This better be good.

What is it, you ask?
An AI practical security conversation with a focus on sharing actual stuff. No fluff, but nothing AI or ML is out of bounds, if it's useful or fun, show it off.

When?
This Thursday (21 August) at noon Eastern.

Absolutely disgusting and embarrassing that #London police are happy to arrest anti-genocide protesters by the hundreds while leaving the fucking fash alone, so long as they stay on one side of the road while they're intimidating people who've come here trying to find safety.

Fuck off, racists. We don't want you.

Today I found out that Microsoft made a promotional campaign for Office XP about how the Office Assistant would no longer be necessary because the program was more "easy to use" than ever. They made animations and a song about Clippy being unemployed (and wanting to return), thought he was just off by default. This is one of the images from the official website:

, that is what i thought, luckily after some research, I found an OpenSource app, something like an userscript manager, which is capable with scripts to fix the UI and handling.

So I have again the UI and feeling of W10 in W11, the start menu with my apps and a thin task bar on the top of the screen to my like.

But certainly it's outrageous to have an extra app to restore what was previously normal in Windows.

If it's of interests, the app is WindHawk (windhawk.net), which contents a lot of userscripts for every aspect of Windows, eg taskbar, Start meu, explorer and much more. Changes are instant, no restart needed, so you can see if i to your like and restore it if not, desactivating the script.
Scripts are visible in the app and even editable and customizable.

I consider it essential for all the suffered Windows 11 users like me.
