My big kick recently is a block of tofu for ridiculously cheap (like sub-80yen), cut into quarters, one block a day, covered in sliced chives, a dollop of garlic (I buy these in a tube), and soy sauce. It's good, it's salty, it gives me brain power for the afternoon, highly recommend
The other good thing about this is that it doesn't go well with coffee at all, which means I will make a jug of mugicha (barley tea) instead. So this way I can cut down on my ridiculous coffee intake too! Win-win
