I never heard of BredOS before but since all the "official" images for Orange Pi 5 Ultra were so flaky, I tried it out. It works insanely well by comparison. Its based on Arch btw.

After answering the installer questions it took probably less than 30 seconds to install. And unlike all the other distros it still worked after updating the packages, the graphics driver works properly, and bonus points for not having pipewire or "orange-hello" chewing up 20-100% of cpu cycles in the background 🙂

If you have a single board computer and need an OS for it, I recommend check it out!

A former US Space Force sergeant has been sentenced to more than five decades in prison for fatally shooting a 14-year-old boy and wounding another teen during a botched carjacking outside his Colorado home.

I am not sure if it's launched on every platform yet, but I've been able to watch some stuff on both my phone and my computer this morning.
