This made me think of something only slightly related. When my son was 10 he we were in the attic and found a box with computers in it. One was a dos machine, the other an ancient and clunky windows 3.1 laptop. To him they were archeological relics. I was skeptical that they would boot after 10+ years in the attic, but they did. He thought the dos machine was broken, til I ran lotus 123 and wordstar. He thought W3.1 was better. Played with them for hours, then took them apart.
