Swedish Chef: Börk börk börk!

Ananda: Lord, he speaks nonsense. Should we send him away?

The Buddha: Even nonsense is still sound. Even sound is still emptiness

Swedish Chef: Flippin’ da chicky inna wok wok wok!

The Buddha: Yet even the flipping, the wok, the chicky -all are but echoes in the vastness of being

Swedish Chef: Bastey bastey, stir da soupy doo!

The Buddha: Then you are ready

Ananda: (stares into the void where chicky and soupy doo once were)

A future with advanced air mobility aircraft populating the skies will require the U.S. to implement enhanced preflight planning that can mitigate potential risks well before takeoff – and NASA is working to develop the tools to make that happen. Preflight planning is critical to ensuring safety in the complex, high-risk environments of the future […]

Valor Mortis Hands-On Impressions

Jean-Luc checked out an hour of Valor Mortis at Gamescom 25, and while they are starting to feel burnt out on the oversaturation of the genre, Valor Mortis shift to a first person perspective and its novel setting got them excited for more.

@risottobias I'm playing XCOM2. I have a mod that puts in a "raider" faction that is independent from the aliens/ADVENT goons, and also independent from MOCX (another modding in faction that DOES work with the aliens).

If you don't do anything, they'll ocassionally show up in your missions and cause all kinds of problems, because they are kinda modeled after XCOM troops. They'll get gun upgrades, perks/abilities, etc.

This is a mission to assault their base of operations, and wipe them out for good.

Only, MOCX showed up for no reason and got their asses handed to them.

I have a HUGE team for this mission because there are 30+ enemies on the map, and a load of snipers that benefit from "squadsight". If an enemy is spotted by a team member, that means the sniper can "see" them, and attack from insane distance, with a bit of an aim penalty.

So I'm just sitting on my ass, letting them infight, and occasionally blasting them with my snipers, while slowly pushing forward with my non-sniper units.

Karen Hao’s book ‘Empire of AI’ should be required reading for anyone who uses AI. She documents in brutal detail how all resources, water, land, power, all the liberal arts, all intellectual property, entire communities and research capacity, are devoured to make the chat thing work. And while everyone can argue *their* particular case was unavoidable, all AI users are complicit. Link karendhao.com

Despite literally writing about an #intersex condition the fucking researchers can't get their head around the fact that NONE of the people with #Kleinfelter are genetically "male" (they're not XY. They're XXY, XXXY, or even XXXXY), & the vast majority of them live their lives with NO awareness they have Klienfelter, even if they naturally look like girls.

Why is it so hard for the highly educated people who actually know better?

Note: XYY exists too. It's called Jacob's Syndrome.

Britain is sliding into the oldest trap in the book - and the government is laying the bait.

Across towns and cities, ordinary people protesting the collapse of their communities are being met not just by police lines but by choreographed mobs of left-wing activists, under banners like 'Stand Up to Racism'; it's not a spontaneous counter-protest, it's state-sanctioned provocation.

The pattern is clear.

Locals rally outside migrant hotels to demand their closure.

Counter-demonstrators, backed by NGOs and shielded by police, descend to brand them "racist."

The two sides clash, Cameras roll, the headlines write themselves: far-right violence, public order crisis, threat to democracy.

Suddenly, the story isn't the government's betrayal over immigration - it's the need for more powers, more crackdowns, more control.

This is how you turn legitimate dissent into criminality.

By baiting it, inflaming it, and then using it as the pretext for repression. The government doesn't fear the leftist mobs because those mobs serve their purpose.

They fear the ordinary British majority that is waking up to the reality of demographic change, cultural erosion, and the slow replacement of their birthright. That majority must be discredited and contained - and street clashes give the state exactly the excuse it needs.

Make no mistake: none of this is accidental.

A government that wanted peace would listen to the people, end the hotel racket, and restore order by defending the border.

Instead, it manufactures conflict at home while waving more arrivals through abroad.

The goal isn't resolution.

It's an escalation - so they can claim extraordinary powers while painting patriots as extremists.

The riots aren't the breakdown of the system; they are the system.
