"Hate speech" has no place in a free society, where We The People are not only legally human but our self-determination, prosperity, and pursuit of happiness is protected and our liberty aggressively defended by ourselves and our own, where the government's only purpose is to keep us from being invaded and murdered and enslaved by foreign tyrants, nothing more.
The problem with "hate speech" is it's ill-defined and can expand and contract to encompass whatever the power deems unacceptable. Same problem as censorship in Twitter1.0.
If they would formally define hate speech as incitement to aggression then this could work.
The problem for this government is if they refuse to accept the constraint of formal definitions, then they will continue to struggle for legitimacy and most people will let them and the Jacobins fight it out.
Governments do not have legitimacy; they are an entity of oppression. Even the best governments tax, regulate, and spend on bureaucracy. There is not a form of government in existence that has inherent legitimacy to protect.

Lavo la ropa en casa porque tengo lavadora, pero cada vez que paso por la lavandería que hay justo a unos metros de mi piso, me dan ganas de traer aquí la ropa y ponerme tranquilamente a leer en el banco mientras espero a que acabe el ciclo de lavado. Es una lavandería acristalada que hace esquina y es como el cuadro de Noctámbulos pero con lavadoras.
yo tengo la lavadora rota y tengo cero prisa por arreglarla porque la hora y pico que tardo entre lavadora, secadora y doblar la ropa son mi rinconcito de paz, con mis cascos, mi musiquita y desconexión de todo.
En una de esas lavamos @Irashila y yo las cosas de los perretes, o los edredones, o la ropa sucia de la maleta a la vuelta de vacaciones. Cero quejas con el servicio proporcionado.
