@Cousin_Vito found out that one of the complaints was about me, because I said no didn’t like the Untied CEO, because he was a tranny, and I didn’t feel that as the head of the company it was appropriate to push that agenda. Businesses should be neutral when it comes to those types of issues.
That apparently is attacking the LGBTQIAPLMZHELU communities.
@Cousin_Vito and because I listen to podcasts of a political nature at work that she didn’t agree with. I always listen to podcasts with my earbuds in, never over the Bluetooth speaker at my desk. The speaker was only for music via Sirius XM, and then only on the lowest volume setting so as not to disturb anyone else with my 80’s hair metal music.
plus… now that she’s gone and you guys aren’t going to rat me out… I’ll just say it, there is a 50-50 chance “she” was a he anyway. At the very least she was a lesbo (which I just found out today, though I would have thought it just by looking at her)
@Cousin_Vito @DaddyO honestly, this company has shifted so much since about 2019 into the woke bullshit. I was “reminded” that I should be mindful of what I say and who I say it to, and that we want to foster an accepting environment not matter anyone’s beliefs, etc.
@DaddyO @Cousin_Vito watching your mouth… what you say and who you say it to is always a good idea though. I used to do that all the time, but I think I got way too comfortable around some of my coworkers that I have worked with for a while.
It's a tough balance to maintain. I like to wise crack and make people laugh at work because it lightens some of the dreariness - but I'm waiting for the day someone not in our group over hears and reports me. I try to be aware of my audience, but being too cautious makes things not funny or spontaneous.
It's frustrating normal folks are forced to tip toe around mentally ill retards.
@Cousin_Vito @DaddyO “I like to wise crack and make people laugh at work because it lightens some of the dreariness - but I'm waiting for the day someone not in our group over hears and reports me.”
Exactly. And like you said, know your audience. The people I have worked with for years know me and know I’m just messing around. New people, maybe not so much so I try to play those cards close to my chest until@I get a feel for how I can act around them.
apparently we were doing an MRB one day and I was standing around with all the women folk discussing things when a maint. dept employee walked by and said something to the effect of a “a rooster among the hens”.
Co-worker #1 felt this was directed at her because she is gay, and he was calling her manly, rather than referring to me being the only guy in a group of 5 other women.
This is what you get when you see your whole world thru the eyes of the victim mentality.
@DaddyO @Cousin_Vito oh, and again… 50-50 that said “chick” was a tranny. “Her” name is Jackie. Was roughly 6’ tall, had NO figure (boobs, hips, etc.) and walked and dressed like a dude. So yeah, always thought she was gay at least, but now hearing how “offended” she was, definitely could have been a tranny.
@Vox @Cousin_Vito sorta feel the same way, but also feel like this is somehow going in my personnel file and will come back to haunt me. Even though HR said “you’re not in trouble, etc.”, i feel like that is something that they are all taught to say when talking about things like this with employees.
Seriously, I remember saying something about getting a steak, or maybe a big thick burger, and she said something to the effect of you don’t have to eat meat. I replied with I like meat.
I don’t know that she was a vegan, but after that comment, I assumed. At the very least she was a vegetarian.
@Cousin_Vito @Peaceandprosperity and I talked with another co-worker who had the same of questions asked, and she said the same thing, that bitch was crazy. Apparently she told HR that I thought the other women in my dept were ratting me out to the boss (I’m the only guy other than the director of the dept.).
I never said that. It’s a lie. Told co-worker #2 and she agreed. That’s what has me pissed off.
Quality Assurance. And no idea. I remember saying something when we were looking to fill a position in our dept a couple of years ago how we needed more men (because I was the only one). After I said it I thought, I hope someone doesn’t go and complain to HR about that.
@Cousin_Vito @Peaceandprosperity there is one lady for sure that I can count on to defend me. One I am not really sure about, and one that I DO NOT say anything around, because I don’t trust her one bit.

As long as they need you more than you need them, who cares? start keeping files on them. See how they like that.
