contribution from my son:
A house painter cheats his clients by thinning out the paints and keeping the profits. One day he is hired to paint a church. As usual, he thins out the paints in order to overcharge his client. He's standing on a ladder admiring his handiwork when a bolt of lightning from a cloudless blue sky knocks him to the ground and a sudden torrential downpour washes all the paint off the church.
Realizing the significance of these events, he calls out, “Oh Lord, I am truly sorry for my transgressions. How can I show my remorse?”
The Heavens part and he hears a Divine Voice say, “Repaint! Repaint and thin no more.”
Emmanuel Florac reshared this.
