They made a movie finally of an old Stanislaw Lem story called The Congress. In it the world looks great until this one attendee wakes up from this hallucination to the reality that their beautiful city is really a slum. It was a carefully constructed criticism of Soviet Poland wrapped in a science fiction framework.

These people are attendees of the Democrat's congress & believe the group delusion and lies.
