I just got some FANTASTIC personal news!

The Dollar General that was in the works for going up next to my orchard-homestead is no longer in play.

Instead the local Land Trust is buying the fields beside and out behind my orchard-homestead and those fields are going to remain undeveloped as a nature preserve.

Furthermore on the other side of my orchard-homestead, the neighbor who sold the above property to the Land Trust, has secured a tax easement from the state for a good portion of his remaining property to remain undeveloped.

Now my neighbor and I are completely surrounded by nature preserves.

I cant see my neighbor, but I can sometimes hear a loud noise from over that way. There are thick woods between us in a low area that is often water logged.
