I just picked up a pair of Nikon Astroluxe 18x70 IF WP binoculars. Found a good deal on Cloudy Nights.
@Elliptica will like this one.

Unknown parent • • •No, but I have used a couple of pairs of 15x70 binoculars, which I own.
Orion Little Giant II 15x70 which I highly recommend.
Oberwerk 15x70 Deluxe which I also highly recommend.
Of course these arent where you should start with binocular viewing of the stars.
Ill let you know how they are when I get them.

I love using my 8.5x44 Swift Audobon (2nd Gen) binoculars for using in conjunction with a telescope or to sweep the miliky way or view constellations or star asterisms in a grouping.
