“The Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) confirms that its civilian ship, Madleen, carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza, has been attacked/forcibly intercepted by the Israeli military at 3:02 am CET in international waters at 31.95236° N, 32.38880° E. The ship was unlawfully boarded, its unarmed civilian crew abducted, and its life-saving cargo—including baby formula, food and medical supplies—confiscated.”

@chuls There is too much media visibility even for Israel to do something like that. Capturing the boat, escorting it to their port, and eventually releasing the crew is hopefully the worst Israel can afford to do.

I'm pretty sure the Madleen crew fully expected this outcome, and it nicely shows how all other countries tacitly accept Israel's breaking international law, instead of doing what law should compel them to do - protect their citizens when crimes are being done against them.

Israel had already declared what it was going to do. This was bound to occur. About baby formula, food and medical supplies, the Palestine authority should step up and handle it.

Gaza strip had zero Israel troops prior to 7-Oct-2023. It had hospitals, schools and electricity. Now significant portion of Gaza is rubble and it is crawling with Israeli troops.

The loosers are people on both sides. How many classes have children of Gaza missed? Was Oct 7 worth it?

@welkin7@ravenation.club @aral Yes. If that mother hadn't denounced the abusing father to the police, they would be still be living with their children as a happy family. Women home breakers are the worst.
Enslaved people*rebelling violently to being oppressed should have know better.
The Jews of the Warsaw ghetto rebelling to Nazis exterminating them should have kept their cool.
