Bluesky question for admin folks... @mackuba?

You may be aware of @pluralistic's essay on the new #Bluesky ToS requiring binding arbitration: pluralistic.net/2025/08/15/dog…

At the end he says he's setting up his own "Bluesky server" so he doesn't need to agree to the new ToS.

BUT, assuming this means running his own PDS, it seems according to this guide: rafaeleyng.github.io/self-host… step 'Create a Bluesky account', you still need to agree to the Bluesky ToS to run Bluesky even on your own PDS.

Right?
