In Taiwan "restore cards" are very popular. The computer boots from a protected partition. You can install, modify, delete all you want, after a reboot everything is restored. I had suggested Linux before, because the people installing everything are lazy. For example they don't start installed software, which means the whole semester you get to see "Welcome to xxx! Since this is the first time you use..."

The answer I got: "Nobody can use Linux." I was tempted to reply that nobody knows how to use Windows either...

So: No FreeBSD, no Linux. They will do whatever acrobatics necessary to go on with Windows.

That's the reason why I'm using Linux, I'm not smart enough to use Windows!

I tried to install Windows and got the error message, "SOMETHING WENT WRONG" Well, what went wrong? Windows has so many secrets and I'm not wizard enough for it
