Last time I made bread it fucked up. I was unsure if not was bad luck on my part or a problem with my yeast.

Rinse. Repeat.

Pretty sure it's a yeast issue.

Completely unsalvageable this time 8-(

@penwing (they/them) Sure it's not a temperature issue? Yeast requires warmth to multiply and rise, this time of year there ain't much unless you provide it artificially.

@nanook my last time was when it was warmer... And I've never had this problem before in the flat. But it's been airing cupboard and above warming oven, so...

@penwing (they/them) Ok, for what it's worth, I place the doe in pans on top of the stove and turn the oven on low with paper towels across the top so there is some warmth radiating up from the oven. This seems to work consistently well.
