a lot of people who do harassment campaigns take a 'divide and conquer' approach to doing it. by playing a game of very convincing paul revering (HAVE YOU HEARD THE TRANNY IS A THREAT???) the bile of their own indulgences bekoning them to do it (whether pure sadism, opportunism, misogynistic paranoia, etc.) is passively fused into the group. now if you get mad about everyone not getting on the man who did its ass they say 'hey it wasnt me who said it'. if you instead get on his ass and tell other people they should get on his ass to they pivot to 'hey arent you being too harsh'? unless their cruelty was already exposed in which case 'hey we couldnt possibly have known any better'. if you look close the excuses are not that different from the more classic misogyny remarks like 'hey she was asking for it'. all of these statements are maintained through appeals to the hegemonic order in which the outsider must remain outsider.

the reality is this: the reason transwomen categorically can not cohabitate with other groups without inevitable subjugation to them is because groups change the goalposts. our people operate outside of law, so stuff like libel and defamation is Unfortunately seen as just as much criminal coolness as shoplifting or sex work is. but you cant meaningfully defame rich untouchables, so the 'crime' gets traded between us, and theres no fairness in that. we often talk about changing the goalpost as a logical fallacy that one person does. the unfairness of the society and the systematic society we live in is that a bunch of people are changing the goal post constantly so that your team can never even have a fucking chance.
