Little things matter
Like when I choose an icon theme for my OS, it should show up in applications as well as on launchers and/or in a menu. When I define borders for windows, it should apply to all windows. I'm beginning to understand why people describe the difference between #Linux and the #BSDs in terms of integration: Linux is a kernel with third party appsthrown together yo make an OS, while #BSD is an operating system that can integrate and manage apps and desktops and such. It's speed on my hardware has been incredible.

The comparison of man pages (e.g. especially the usage examples), from openbsd, to linux, has long been my go-to peak example of that.

... Still, I dont mind the jank enough to leave linuxen. It's not a big deal breaking issue, like the abuses of proprietary software. 😀
