Events this week were once again disturbing and stressful. We are sad to have watched our warrior Sidney Powell be arrested, mug shot taken and required to posr a $100,000 bond.
Sidney is NOT a criminal. Nor are any of the 18 co-defendants. Nor is President Trump. But like in a scene from an old WWII movie, we were forced to see attorneys criminalized for doing their jobs and raising questions about an election. It is a terrible time for the citizens of America.
Sidney is resolute and had these comments after yesterday's debacle.

Генеральный директор Stark Logistics Кристьян Крааг подтвердил ERR, что компания продолжила грузоперевозки в Россию после февраля 2022 года. При этом, по словам Краага, перевозки в РФ "играли несущественную роль в деятельности компании", а с начала полномасштабного вторжения России в Украину их количество значительно сократилось.
"До войны для нас было нормой осуществлять 60-70 перевозок в месяц в Россию и из России. Сегодня от этого осталось примерно одна-две перевозки в неделю, и все они связаны с одним клиентом – эстонским предприятием [производителем аэрозольной упаковки] AS Metaprint", – уточнил он.
Metaprint и Stark Logistics, как отметили расследователи, связаны между собой через эстонского бизнесмена Мартти Лемендика, которому принадлежат доли около 50% в каждой из них. Metaprint объявила о скором прекращении работы завода в России. В свою очередь Крааг заверил, что в сентябре 2023 года Stark Logistics полностью прекратит перевозки в Россию для Metaprint.

I volunteered in the concession stand at our local baseball team yesterday. The ballpark is cashless, so I got a couple of surprised patrons when I told them their cash was no good.

One of the biggest mistakes made is assuming the enemy will play fair. Trump believed in fairness when in office and knows better now but will that new knowledge help him? Hard to say because the word “fair” doesn’t apply to our election process anymore (or perhaps it never did).
You seem to allude to him being president again but held captive by that roll. I’m not sure he will be able to do more than last time since his enemies are more prepared and are assuredly booby trapping future progress.

OK. How do you know if your rotors need resurfacing or replaced, or not? I don't want to be bullshitted by the techs at Brake Plus.
That takes the cost of a brake replacement from $149 to $209 ($30 additional fee to resurface each rotor) OR to $349 ($100 additional cost to replace each rotor).
I'm replacing them along with the pads. I had the brakes checked on both CRVs before we left VA and my mechanic said they were fine. But that was almost 2 years ago, it's 1700 miles to TX that we drove in mom's car, and most of the driving since then has been in this CRV. The car sneaked in another 40K miles since we moved here, and we're at 124K as of today. So I'm okay with starting fresh.
