A team led by prominent human rights lawyer Michael Mansfield KC has submitted a 240-page war crimes complaint to Scotland Yard against 10 British nationals who joined Israeli forces in Gaza.
The dossier alleges these individuals participated in targeted killings of civilians and aid workers, indiscriminate attacks on civilian areas including hospitals, destruction of protected historic and religious sites, and forced displacement of Palestinians.
The complaint, compiled over six months on behalf of the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights and Public Interest Law Centre, covers alleged offenses from October 2023 to May 2024. It includes witness testimony of bodies buried in mass graves at hospitals and medical facilities being bulldozed.

Warum haben die Supermarktleiter*innen und Kund*innen in Kanada eigentlich so viel Arsch in der Hose, US-amerikan. Produkte aus dem Sortiment zu schmeißen bzw. durch Auf-den-Kopf-drehen kenntlich zu machen und hier passiert null? Manchmal geht mir die deutsche Lahmheit echt auf den Geist. Kein Kampfgeist, keine gerechte Wut, keine Reaktion auf wirkl. wichtige Sachen. Nur Gejammer über nebensächlichen Kleinkram. Uns Deutsche kann man an die Wand werfen und wir bleiben da kleben. 🙁
Früher hat "der Deutsche" sprichwörtlich keine Revolution gemacht wegen "Rasen betreten verboten". Heute macht er keine Revolutionen wegen "wollte abends grillen" und "Nike-Sneaker werden sonst beim Rasenbetreten schmutzig". ☹️
Ich vermute in Kanada sind einfach viele Produkte komplett importiert. In D ist es wegen der großen Entfernung etwas anders: amerikanische Produkte werden gerne hier oder in der EU 'vor Ort' produziert. Siehe Coca Cola. Die Abstinenz ist ein gutes Symbol, aber es schneidet in das eigene Fleisch. Nach meiner Sichtweise bringt es eher die Produktionsbetriebe dazu zu bewegen amerikanische Produkte nicht mehr zu produzieren.
@Leilah Lilienruh na klar, deswegen können alle möglichen dahergelaufenen politiker -- sogar die unmöglichen -- uns verarschen und zu allem überreden, das ihnen in den kram paßt. hauptsache feierabend-bier, billig-reise, und kein tempo-limit.
Ich frag nicht mal mehr, welche Unternehmen und öffentliche Einrichtungen sich endlich von Microsoft-Produkten und Dienstleistungen trennen... das sind nicht viele. Für Kanada wird das aber auch noch zur Gretchenfrage.
Einkaufen ist mittlerweile echt anstrengend. Neben den Produkten von Weidel-Freund Müller und Anderen, jetzt auch noch den amerikanische Kram vermeiden. Ich war ja nie so ein Freund von nationalistischen "Deutsche kauft deutsch" Parolen, aber jetzt mache ich eine Ausnahme.
Ist es vielleicht eher eine Frage des Ausmaßes? Canada bezieht wahnsinnig viele Lebensmittel von den USA und umgekehrt. In den USA kaufen wir auch viele Lebensmittel von Europa. Gilt das aber unbedingt umgekehrt? Oder beziehen Europäer vielmehr andere Produkte aus den USA? Ich rede hier nur aus eigene Erfahrung. Weiss der Kuckuck was die Zahlen sagen.
Außerdem, stell Dir vor, dass Deine Nachbaren sich so verhielten.
Das Bedrohungsszenario ist einfach ein anderes. In Kanada müssen die Menschen Angst davor haben, "eingemeindet" zu werden. Wir werden sicherheitspolitisch höchstens allein gelassen und müssen gen Ostern schielen. Aber da sind wir auch selber dran schuld, bzw waren uns der Tatsache jetzt schon Jahrzehnte bewusst und haben den Arsch nicht hochgekriegt.
