in reply to Blake Watson • • •its potential for good and bad are both limitless. unfortunately, the tech is in the hands of corpos and thus will necessarily be used (mostly) towards driving their bottomline... which is usually in bad ways.
even the negative impacts for the environment... thats only bc of scale and the amount slop thats being produced with it. if we have small scale AI, owned and controlled by the people, that wouldnt necessarily be a bad thing. especially especially its potential in helping and aiding with accessibility.
