Our farmers are GREAT, but because of their GREATNESS, they are always put on the Front Line with our adversaries, such as China, whenever there is a Trade negotiation or, in this case, a Trade War. The same thing happened in my First Term. China was brutal to our Farmers, I these Patriots to just hold on, and a great trade deal was made. I rewarded our farmers with a payment of $28 Billion Dollars, all through the China deal. It was a great transaction for the USA, until Crooked Joe Biden came in and didn’t enforce it. China largely reneged on the deal (although they behaved during the Trump Administration), only buying a portion of what they agreed to buy. They had ZERO respect for the Crooked Biden Administration, and who can blame them for that? Interestingly, they just reneged on the big Boeing deal, saying that they will “not take possession” of fully committed to aircraft. The USA will PROTECT OUR FARMERS!!!

A Judge ruled against us on 530,000 Illegal Migrants (that Joe Biden flew over the Border in his program to transport Illegals into the Country by airplane) saying that they can’t be looked at as a group, but that each case has to be tried individually. The French lost 25,000 dead and 65,000 wounded in Algeria from 1954-62, the US lost 60,000 dead and twice that number wounded in Vietnam. By contrast, in twenty years of operations in Afghanistan, the US lost some 2,500 dead, and other nations substantially less. What’s important here is not just the difference in the human cost—the casualties were not a major factor in the decision to withdraw, unlike in earlier conflicts—but rather the belief that this would be the model for the future. Units could be sent on operational tours and would come back basically intact. The idea that—as now in Ukraine—whole units could be wiped out or rendered operationally useless, had disappeared from the understanding of the Western Strategic Class. The Russian preparedness to take significant casualties in support of major, long-term political objectives has caused variously fear, disbelief and incomprehension in the West.

I have mixed feelings about what I’m calling “AI guilt.” On one hand I see incredible accessibility applications, but also the corrosive side of the technology.

I’m not sure if I’m down with blaming end users. I can see where people are coming from, but anyone driving a car or using a smartphone or a computer or literal sausage is “pretending not to know how the sausage is made” so I don’t think it’s as simple as “use AI === bad.” That’s not a consistent, compelling argument to me.

its potential for good and bad are both limitless. unfortunately, the tech is in the hands of corpos and thus will necessarily be used (mostly) towards driving their bottomline... which is usually in bad ways.
even the negative impacts for the environment... thats only bc of scale and the amount slop thats being produced with it. if we have small scale AI, owned and controlled by the people, that wouldnt necessarily be a bad thing. especially especially its potential in helping and aiding with accessibility.

I miss the build up of walking past all the knobbly old sakura trees in the neighborhood, week after week, waiting for the buds to open. I miss eagerly packing a picnic blanket then taking off early from work to hanami with friends and coworkers. I miss how sakura was an excuse to walk with friends along the river at night. I miss uprooting wild diakon like animal crossing villagers underneath the blooming canopy. All these experiences were so precious and fleeting.

Three Alleged Guerrillas Killed Battling Security Forces In Bijapur District


Three individuals police claim to be cadres of CPI (Maoist) were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in the Indravati region of Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district on Saturday, a police official announced to the press today.

According to the police official, the skirmish began when a joint team of security personnel, comprising jawans from the CRPF, Commando Battalion for Resolute Action, Special Task Force (STF) and District Reserve Guard (DRG), acting on specific intelligence inputs about the presence of Maoists along the forested terrain on the far side of Indravati river in Bhairamgarh, was out on an anti-Maoist combing operation.

In his report, the police official declared that at around 9am an encounter broke out between a squad of persons police claim were Maoists and the security forces, adding that the bodies of three alleged Maoists and a cache of weapons and explosives were recovered from the spot.

In his statement to the press, the police official said that the bodies recovered at the site of the gun battle are yet to be identified, and that there has been no report of any security personnel sustaining injuries in the firefight.

The police official concluded his remarks by stating that the encounter is still reported to be underway with intermittent firing continuing, and that more details about the skirmish are awaited.

According to police sources, Bijapur is among the seven most Maoist-affected districts in Bastar zone, and is cited by police as an epicenter of the Maoists in southern Chhattisgarh state.
