Michael Jackson - The Way You Make Me Feel (Official Video)

Hee-hee
Ooh
Go'n girl
Ow
Hee

Hey, pretty baby, with the high heels on
You give me fever, like I've never, ever known
You're just a product of, loveliness
I like the groove of your walk, your talk, your dress

I feel your fever from miles around
I'll pick you up in my car and we'll paint the town
Just kiss me baby and tell me twice
That you're the one for me

The way you make me feel
(The way you make me feel)
You really turn me on
(You really turn me on)
You knock me off of my feet
(You knock me off of my feet)
My lonely days are gone
(My lonely days are gone)

I like the feelin' you're givin' me
Just hold me baby and I'm in ecstasy
Oh, I'll be workin' from nine to five
To buy ya things to keep you by my side

I never felt so in love before
Just promise baby, you'll love me forevermore
I swear I'm keepin' you satisfied
'Cause you're the one for me

The way you make me feel
(The way you make me feel)
You really turn me on
(You really turn me on)
You knock me off of my feet, now baby
(You knock me off of my feet)
My lonely days are gone
(My lonely days are gone)

Acha-ooh
Go'n girl
Go'n
Hee-hee
Ow
Go'n girl

I never felt so in love before
Promise baby, you'll love me forevermore
I swear I'm keepin' you satisfied
'Cause you're the one for me

The way you make me feel
(The way you make me feel)
You really turn me on
(You really turn me on)
You knock me off of my feet, now baby
(You knock me off of my feet)
My lonely days are gone
(My lonely days are gone)

The way you make me feel
(The way you make me feel)
You really turn me on
(You really turn me on)
You knock me off of my feet, now baby

My lonely days are gone
(My lonely days are gone)

Ain't nobody's business (the way you make me feel)
Ain't nobody's business
Ain't nobody's business
Ain't nobody's business (you really turn me on)
But mine and my baby
(You knock me off of my feet) hee-hee
Hee-hee, ooh
(My lonely days are gone)

Give it to me (the way you make me feel)
Give me some time
Come on be my girl
I wanna be with mine (you really turn me on)
Ain't nobody's business
Ain't nobody's business (you knock me off of my feet)
But mine and my baby's (my lonely days are gone)

Go'n girl, ow
Hee-hee, ooh
Choo-coo, choo-coo
Choo-coo, choo-coo, choo-coo
Go'n girl, hee hee

Jessica Simpson - I Think I'm in Love with You

Every time you're near, baby
I get kinda crazy in my head for you
And I don't know what to do
And, oh, baby
I get kinda shaky when they mention you
I just lose my cool

My friends tell me something has come over me
And I think I know what it is
I think I'm in love

Boy, I think that I'm in love with you
Got me doin' silly things when it comes to you (in love)
Boy, I think that I'm in love with you (oh, I think I'm in love)
I been tellin' all my friends what I feel for you

Just the other night, baby
I saw you hanging, you were with your crew
I was with mine too
You took me by surprise
When you turned and looked me in my eyes
Boy, you really blew my mind

I don't know what's gotten into me
But I kinda think I know what it is
I think I'm in love

Boy, I think that I'm in love with you (in love)
Got me doin' silly things when it comes to you (I'm in love)
Boy, I think that I'm in love with you (I'm in love)
I been tellin' all my friends what I feel for you
Boy, I think that I'm in love with you
Got me tellin' all my friends what I feel for you

Somethin' strange has come over me
Got me goin' out of my mind
Never met a guy like you before
You make me feel special inside
I think I'm in love

Boy, I think that I'm in love with you (oh, yeah)
Got me doin' silly things when it comes to you (I think I'm in love)
Boy, I think that I'm in love with you (in love with you)
I been tellin' all my friends what I feel for you (what I feel)

(See, I) boy, I think that I'm in love with you (ah, in love with you)
Got me doin' silly things when it comes to you (goin' out of my mind, boy)
Boy, I think that I'm in love with you (I think I'm in love)
I been tellin' all my friends what I feel for you

(Baby, every time you call my name) boy, I think that I'm in love with you (you're drivin' me insane)
Got me doin' silly things when it comes to you (I don't know what to do)
Boy, I think that I'm in love with you (never met a guy like you)
I been tellin' all my friends what I feel for you (believe me 'cause it's true)

Boy, I think that I'm in love with you

Michael Jackson - Beat It (Official 4K Video)

Official 4K Video for “Beat It" by Michael Jackson

They told him, "Don't you ever come around here"
"Don't wanna see your face, you better disappear"
The fire's in their eyes and their words are really clear
So beat it, just beat it

You better run, you better do what you can
Don't wanna see no blood, don't be a macho man
You wanna be tough, better do what you can
So beat it, but you wanna be bad

Just beat it (beat it), beat it (beat it)
No one wants to be defeated
Showin' how funky and strong is your fight
It doesn't matter who's wrong or right
Just beat it (beat it)
Just beat it (beat it)
Just beat it (beat it)
Just beat it (beat it, uh)

They're out to get you, better leave while you can
Don't wanna be a boy, you wanna be a man
You wanna stay alive, better do what you can
So beat it, just beat it

You have to show them that you're really not scared
You're playin' with your life, this ain't no truth or dare
They'll kick you, then they'll beat you
Then they'll tell you it's fair
So beat it, but you wanna be bad

Just beat it (beat it), beat it (beat it)
No one wants to be defeated
Showin' how funky and strong is your fight
It doesn't matter who's wrong or right

Just beat it (beat it), beat it (beat it)
No one wants to be defeated
Showin' how funky and strong is your fight
It doesn't matter who's wrong or right
Just beat it (beat it, beat it, beat it)
Beat it (beat it, beat it)

Beat it (beat it, beat it)
Beat it (beat it, beat it)

Beat it (beat it, beat it)

Beat it (beat it), beat it (beat it)
No one wants to be defeated
Showin' how funky and strong is your fight
It doesn't matter who's wrong or right (who's right)

Just beat it (beat it), beat it (beat it)
No one wants to be defeated (no one)
Showin' how funky and strong is your fight
It doesn't matter who's wrong or right

Just beat it (beat it), beat it (beat it)
No one wants to be defeated (oh, no)
Showin' how funky and strong is your fight
It doesn't matter who's wrong or right

Just beat it (beat it), beat it (beat it)
No one wants to be defeated
Showin' how funky and strong is your fight
It doesn't matter who's wrong or right

Just beat it (beat it), beat it (beat it)

Shania Twain - You’re Still The One

When I first saw you
I saw love
And the first time you touched me
I felt love
And after all this time
You're still the one I love

Mmm, yeah
Looks like we made it
Look how far we've come my baby
We mighta took the long way
We knew we'd get there someday

They said, I bet they'll never make it
But just look at us holdin' on
We're still toether, still goin' strong

(You're still the one)
You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life

(You're still the one)
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss goodnight

Ain't nothin' better
We beat the odds together
I'm glad we didn't listen
Look at what we would be missin'

They said, I bet they'll never make it
But just look at us holdin' on
We're still together still goin' strong

(You're still the one)
You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life

(You're still the one)
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss goodnight
(You're still the one)

Yeah (You're still the one)
You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life

(You're still the one)
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss goodnight

I'm so glad we made it
Look how far we've come my baby

Evanescence - Going Under

"Going Under" by Evanescence is a hauntingly powerful track that delves into themes of struggle and resilience. Featured on their iconic album "Fallen," this song combines Amy Lee's emotive vocals with a blend of rock and orchestral elements, creating a captivating sound. Released in 2003, it remains a defining anthem of the early 2000s rock scene.

Lyrics:
Now I will tell you what I've done for you
Fifty thousand tears I've cried
Screaming, deceiving, and bleeding for you
And you still won't hear me (going under)

Don't want your hand this time, I'll save myself
Maybe I'll wake up for once (wake up for once)
Not tormented daily defeated by you
Just when I thought I'd reached the bottom

I'm dying again
I'm going under (going under)
Drowning in you (drowning in you)
I'm falling forever (falling forever)
I've got to break through
I'm going under

Blurring and stirring the truth and the lies (so I don't know what's real)
(So I don't know what's real and what's not)
(Don't know what's real and what's not)
Always confusing the thoughts in my head
So I can't trust myself anymore

I'm dying again
I'm going under (going under)
Drowning in you (drowning in you)
I'm falling forever (falling forever)
I've got to break through

So go on and scream, scream at me
I'm so far away (so far away)
I won't be broken again (again)
I've got to breathe
I can't keep going under

I'm dying again
I'm going under (going under)
Drowning in you (drowning in you)
I'm falling forever (falling forever)
I've got to break through
I'm going under (going under)
Going under (drowning in you)
I'm going under

Carly Rae Jepsen - Run Away With Me

You're stuck in my head, stuck on my heart
Stuck in my body, body
I wanna go, get outta here
I'm sick of the party, party
I'd run away
I'd run away with you, ooh
This is the part you gotta say
All that you're feelin', feelin'
Packing a bag, leaving tonight
While everyone's sleepin', sleepin'
Let's run away
I'll run away with you, ooh

'Cause you make me feel like
I could be drivin' you all night
And I'll find your lips in the streetlights
I wanna be there with you, ooh

Baby
Take me to the feelin'
I'll be your sinner in secret
When the lights go out
Run away with me
Run away with me
Baby
Every single minute
I'll be your hero and win it
When the lights go out
Run away with me
Run away with me

Up in the clouds, high as a kite
Over the city, city
We never sleep, we never try
When you are with me, with me
I wanna stay
Oh, I wanna stay here with you, ooh

'Cause you make me feel like
I could be drivin' you all night
And I'll find your lips in the streetlights
I wanna be there with you, ooh

Oh, baby
Take me to the feelin'
I'll be your sinner in secret
When the lights go out
Run away with me
Run away with me
Oh, baby
Every single minute
I'll be your hero and win it
When the lights go out
Run away with me
Run away with me

Hold on to me, I
Never wanna let you go
(Run away with me)
Oh (Run away with me)
Over the weekend
We could turn the world to gold
(Run away with me)
Oh (Run away with me)

(We could turn the world to gold)
(Oh)
Over the weekend
We could turn the world to gold
Oh
Oh

Oh, my baby
Take me to the feelin' (Take me to, take me to it, yeah)
I'll be your sinner in secret
When the lights go out
Run away with me
(Just run away with me)
Baby
Every single minute
I'll be your hero and win it
When the lights go out
Run away with me
Run away with me

Run away with me
Run away with me
Run away with me
Run away with me

Rihanna - Desperado

Desperado · Rihanna

Desperado
Sitting in an old Monte Carlo
A man whose heart is hollow
Take it easy, I'm not tryna go against you
Actually, I'm going with you

Gotta get up out of here and you ain't leaving me behind
I know you won't 'cause we share common interests
You need me, there ain't no leaving me behind
Never, no, no, just want out of here, yeah
Once I'm gone, ain't no goin' back

If you want we could be runaways
Running from any sight of love
Yeah, yeah, there ain't nothin', there ain't nothin' here for me
There ain't nothing here for me anymore
But I don't wanna be alone

Desperado
Sitting in an old Monte Carlo
We've both had our hearts broke up
Take it easy, I'm not trying to go against you
I can be a lone wolf with ya

Gotta get up out of here and you ain't leaving me behind
I know you won't 'cause we share common interests
You need me, there ain't no leaving me behind
Never, no, no, both want out of here, yeah
Once we're gone, ain't no goin' back

If you want, we could be runaways
Running from any sight of love
Yeah, yeah, there ain't nothin', there ain't nothin' here for me
There ain't nothin' here for me anymore
I don't wanna be alone

Dear desperado
Yeah, I don't wanna be alone
Dear desperado
Yeah, I don't wanna be alone

If you want, we could be runaways
Running from any sight of love
Yeah, yeah, there ain't nothin', there ain't nothin' here for me
There ain't nothin' here for me anymore
But I don't wanna be alone

If you want, we could be runaways
Running from any sight of love
Yeah, yeah, there ain't nothin', there ain't nothin' here for me

Rihanna - Hate That I Love You ft. Ne-Yo

Yeah, yeah
Hey, yeah
That's how much I love you (Yeah)
That's how much I need you (Yeah, yeah, yeah)

And I can't stand you
Must everything you do make me wanna smile
Can I not like you for awhile? (No)
But you won't let me
You upset me, girl
And then you kiss my lips
All of a sudden I forget (That I was upset)
Can't remember what you did

But I hate it
You know exactly what to do
So that I can't stay mad at you
For too long, that's wrong
But I hate it
You know exactly how to touch
So that I don't want to fuss and fight no more
Said I despise that I adore you

And I hate how much I love you, boy (Yeah)
I can't stand how much I need you (I need you)
And I hate how much I love you, boy (Ooh, whoa)
But I just can't let you go
And I hate that I love you so (Ooh)

And you completely know the power that you have
(The power that you have)
The only one makes me laugh (One that makes you laugh)
Sad, and it's not fair
How you take advantage of the fact
That I, love you beyond a reason why
And it just ain't right, oh

And I hate how much I love you, girl
I can't stand how much I need you (Yeah)
And I hate how much I love you, girl
But I just can't let you go
But I hate that I love you so

One of these days maybe your magic won't affect me
And your kiss won't make me weak
But no one in this world knows me the way you know me
So you'll probably always have a spell on me
Yeah, ooh, oh, oh
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

That's how much I love you (How much I need you)
That's how much I need you (How much I love you)
That's how much I love you (Oh, need you)
That's how much I need you (I need you)
And I hate that I love you so

And I hate how much I love you, boy
I can't stand how much I need you (I can't stand how much I need you)
And I hate how much I love you, boy
But I just can't let you go (But I just can't let you go, no)
And I hate that I love you so (Ooh)

Michael Jackson - This Is It (Official Video)

One, two, three, ahh!
This is it, here I stand
I'm the light of the world
I feel grand
Got this love, I can feel
And I know, yes for sure
It is real

And it feels as though I've seen your face a thousand times
And you said you really know me too yourself
And I know that you have got addicted with their eyes
But you say you're gonna leave it for yourself
Ohhh!
I never heard a single word about you
Falling in love wasn't my plan
I never thought that I would be your lover

Come on baby just understand

This is it
I can say
I'm the light of your world
Run away
We can feel

This is real
Every time I'm in love that I feel

And I feel as though I've known you since a thousand years
And you tell me that you've seen my face before
And you said to me that you don't want me hanging around
Many times wanna do it here before
Oh, yeah!
I never heard a single word about you

Falling in love wasn't my plan
I never thought that I would be your lover
Come on baby just understand

This is it
I can feel
I'm the light of the world

This is real
Feel my song
We can say
And I tell you can feel that way

And I feels as though I've known you for a thousand years
And you said you saw my face for yourself
And you said want to go with me on a while
And I know that it's really for myself
Oh, yeah!
I never heard a single word about you
Falling in love wasn't my plan
I never thought that I would be your lover
Come on please dear understand
I never heard a single word about you
Falling in love wasn't my plan
I never thought that I would be your lover
Come on dear please understand
Oh, yeah!
I never heard a single word about you
Falling in love wasn't my plan
I never thought that I would be your lover
Come on please dear understand
Word about you
My plan
Be your lover

Pale Waves - Lies (Official Video)

Pale Waves' "Lies" is an engaging track from their album "Unwanted." This song showcases the band's unique blend of indie pop and introspective lyrics, delving into themes of deception and self-reflection. With its catchy hooks and vibrant sound, "Lies" captures the essence of youthful angst.

Lyrics:
You called it love
But it never had that feeling
Ripped out my heart and left it bleeding

Do you feel happier yet?
D’you say some things you regret?
Cos I’m feeling better alone
But I know I know I know

You messed me up yeah real bad
Can’t take those stabs in the back
I know I’m better than that
But I’m sure I’m sure
I’m in over my head

You called it love
But it never had that feeling
Ripped out my heart and left it bleeding
Empty talk but it never had no meaning
Stuck here just staring at the ceiling
Now it’s overdue
Cos I’m so over you
Call me blind but it was the last time
Cos all your lies they just caught up with you

And all those secrets I told
You used to get your control
So hot and then you’re so cold
It’s too late too late
I’m in over my head

You called it love
But it never had that feeling
Ripped out my heart and left it bleeding
Empty talk but it never had no meaning
Stuck here just staring at the ceiling
Now it’s overdue
Cos I’m so over you
Call me blind but it was the last time
Cos all your lies they just caught up with you

All the years that went by
Kept me in the dark why?
I’ll forgive but I won’t forget
Yeah we all make mistakes
But yours I just can’t shake
You’re now a little too late

You called it love
But it never had that feeling
Ripped out my heart and left it bleeding
Empty talk but it never had no meaning
Stuck here just staring at the ceiling
Now it’s overdue
Cos I’m so over you
Call me blind but it was the last time
Cos all your lies they just caught up with you

As the flowers start to bloom
She’s living in my mind
Not knowing what she’ll find
But she stays and stays
All night all day

I’m a little bit in over my head
Said I wouldn’t let her but instead

She’s pulling me like gravity
Everywhere she goes
Am I in too deep
Or outta my reach
Little does she know
She keeps pulling me
Keeps pulling me like gravity

We go well together
But I couldn’t let her
Know she’s all I think about
You see she loves Jesus
So that always stopped us
So I tried to pray but nothing changed

I’m a little bit in over my head
Said I wouldn’t let her but instead

She’s pulling me like gravity
Everywhere she goes
Am I in too deep
Or outta my reach
Little does she know
She keeps pulling me, keeps pulling me
Oh the effect that she has on me
She’s pulling me like gravity

I’ll go anywhere she wants
I’ll be anything anyone
Talking too much to Mary
Oh and now she wants ordinary

She’s pulling me like gravity
Everywhere she goes
Am I in too deep
Or outta my reach
Little does she know
She keeps pulling me, keeps pulling me
Oh the affect that she has on me
She’s pulling me like gravity

Pale Waves - Eighteen (Official Video)

Pale Waves' "Eighteen" is an enchanting track from their album "My Mind Makes Noises." This song beautifully captures the essence of youthful love and longing, wrapped in the band's signature indie pop sound. Its relatable lyrics and catchy melody make it a memorable addition to their repertoire.

Lyrics:
This city depresses me
But you try to be everything I need

We sat on the corner kissing each other
Felt like I could finally see in colour

I was 18 when I met you
Poured my heart out, spilt all my truth
I finally felt like I could feel for the first time
When I met you

Everybody passed us by
With the same conversation time after time

I could stay by your side all night
Baby, it's just you and me, and that's fine

I was 18 when I met you
Poured my heart out, spilt all my truth
I finally felt like I could feel for the first time
When I met you

I was 18 when I met you
Poured my heart out, spilt all my truth
I finally felt like I could feel for the first time

I was 18 when I met you
Poured my heart out, spilt all my truth
I finally felt like I could feel for the first time
When I met you

Pale Waves - Glasgow (Official)

Pale Waves' "Glasgow" is a captivating track from their album "Smitten," showcasing the band's signature blend of indie pop and emotive lyrics. With its infectious melody and heartfelt themes, this song resonates with listeners, making it a standout in their discography.

Lyrics:
Oh no it didn’t take much convincing
Cause I was doing more feeling than thinking
And I just met your brother
The start of the summer
He warned me about you
We drank in the pouring rain
One glass of wine and somehow you changed

When I left you Glasgow
I remember crying all the way home
Yeah I had to go and get myself out of there
Oh cause there was nothing left, nothing left
For us to repair

I love the city cos it’s all or nothing
It’s always cold but it’s oh so loving
You also were born that way
That’s the trouble you face
You were losing your balance
And I had to run away
And I wondered if it was a mistake

When I left you Glasgow
I remember crying all the way home
Yeah I had to go and get myself out of there
Oh cause there was nothing left, nothing left
For us to repair

Why are governments and administrations NOT moving to Linux?

Improve your VM patching workflow with QEMUCare: tuxcare.com/live-patching-serv…

You might have wondered why public administrations don't all use Linux, like the Police, the tax services, the health services, and all other government related agencies. It's completely free of charge, really customizable, secure and stable. There shouldn't be any kind of competition, right? Well, turns out there might be a bunch of barriers to entry, so let's see why our governments don't use our favorite OS.

There is a heavy lobby in place for Microsoft and their solutions. These guys are entrenched in virtually every market, they have money, influence.

But that's not the only reason why most countries do NOT run on open source software and Linux.

Training

The second main obstacle is training. As simple as Linux desktops have become, they will still be unfamiliar to regular users that have been trained on Windows since they were in school. You can replicate a windows, or mac os layout, and that would ease the transition, but there are still major differences in how the file system is laid out, how settings are displayed, what settings you can access, and how the system behaves.

Then there's the app issues. Most governments and administrations run on windows + office. Some have departments that use Adobe products. All of these are not available on Linux, so you also have to train your people to use new applications.

Hidden costs

On top of these training costs, you also have some hidden ones. Linux might have gotten way better at hardware support, but it's still not perfect. Some hardware doesn't have good drivers, printers and printer / scanner combos can still be an issue for example, and these are extremely costly devices.

An administration might have to replace tons of hardware, computers and peripherals to make the switch.

There's also the issue of custom software that administrations might use: these are usually old pieces of software that were designed to run on Windows XP on in IE with ActiveX controls. These don't run on Linux natively. They might run with Wine, or they might have to be ported.

These hidden costs are a barrier to moving to Linux and open source apps, and can even make the migration completely fail if they're not identified at the start.

Lack of knowledge

There is also a huge lack of knowledge about Linux in general in public administrations. Few people know that Linux exist, or that it can even run on a desktop and isn't limited to servers.

The people that make these kind of decisions, like moving to Windows 10 instead of Windows 8, or using Office instead of something else, they are generally not the most tech savvy persons in existence, that's not their jobs, they're managers, directors.

So Linux is probably way under the radar for them.

Wrong choices

But, there have been experiments with Linux. Some administrations have moved to Linux based OSes, like the city of Munich, which moved to Linux, then back to Windows, then back to Linux again.
China uses their own distro on a lot of government computers, the French gendarmerie uses Linux since Vista came out, and schools in Iceland have moved to Ubuntu Linux in the past.

Some of these experiments have failed though, and I think there is a simple reason for that. Well, 2 reasons.

The first one is probably poor execution. If you just replace the OS with Linux, and MS Office with LibreOffice and Evolution, without training, without thinking how to move people over and train them, of course it's going to fail, people are going to complain, and 5 years later, you're going back to windows.

There is also the fact that most administrations decided to move to a custom linux distro. Munich moved to LiMux, based on Debian. The city of Vienna moved to Wienux, based on Debian. Russia and China use their own Linux distros.

I personally think the right solution is to use something that's available out of the box, like ubuntu, openSUSE, or red hat. Something that has commercial support, and that will still cost way less than Windows, and something where you don't have to manage updating the distro and then deploying it.

Pale Waves - Change

"Change" by Pale Waves is an emotive pop-rock track that explores themes of self-acceptance and the struggles of navigating personal identity. Released in 2018, this song features catchy hooks and heartfelt lyrics, showcasing the band's signature sound and resonating with listeners who appreciate its authenticity and vulnerability.

Lyrics:
Lyrics:
I remember it like it was yesterday
My mother didn’t prepare me for this heartache
Why did everything suddenly just change
We were laying naked the other day

Now you act like I’m nobody
But you still wanna go down on me
And I know I’m a fool to believe

I keep wishing you would change
It’s no surprise you’re still the same
I wish I’d never seen your face
But hey
You’ve hurt me a thousand times before
But I'm missing you right now so do it once more

I’m being so irrational
Don’t know what to do
Just trying my best to get over you
I sat in the shower couldn’t leave for a few hours
Cos I let you back in
Now I’m crawling out my skin

Now you act like I’m nobody
But you still wanna go down on me
And I know I’m a fool to believe

I keep wishing you would change (change)
It’s no surprise you’re still the same (same)
I wish I’d never seen your face
But hey
You’ve hurt me a thousand times before
But I’m missing you right now so do it once more

I keep running around in circles
But you stay the same
My expectation keeps me hurting
I shouldn’t feel this way

Just wishing you would change (change)
It’s no surprise you’re still the same (same)
I wish I’d never seen your face
But hey
You’ve hurt me a thousand times before
But I'm missing you right now so do it once more

Their electrifying stage presence and theatricality along with their fist-pumping anthems of youthful rebellion transcend generations and cultures and have made them one of the greatest heavy metal bands in history.

Lyrics:
We're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore

We've got the right to choose, and
There ain't no way we'll lose it
This is our life, this is our song
We'll fight the powers that be, just
Don't pick on our destiny, 'cause
You don't know us, you don't belong

We're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore

Oh, you're so condescending
Your call is never ending
We don't want nothin', not a thing from you
Your life is trite and jaded
Boring and confiscated
If that's your best, your best won't do

Woah-oh-oh
Woah-oh-oh
We're right (yeah)
We're free (yeah)
We'll fight (yeah)
You'll see (yeah)

Whoa-whoa, we're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore

We're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore
No way!

Woah-oh-oh
Woah-oh-oh
We're right (yeah)
We're free (yeah)
We'll fight (yeah)
You'll see (yeah)

We're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore

We're not gonna take it (no!)
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore (just you try and make us)

We're not gonna take it (come on!)
No, we ain't gonna take it (you're all worthless and weak)
We're not gonna take it anymore (now drop and give me 20)

We're not gonna take it (a pledge pin)
No, we ain't gonna take it (on your uniform)
We're not gonna take it anymore

Hi @nanook@friendica.eskimo.com

I truly appreciate your efforts in reporting these issues, and I want to express my gratitude for your diligence. However, I must admit that I haven't been able to replicate the problems you've described.

As @Chocobozzz kindly suggested, I encourage you to share any related concerns in his repository at github.com/Chocobozzz/PeerTube… Your insights would be invaluable, especially as we are currently working with a release candidate 7.2.0-rc.1. Every report is immensely helpful in our quest to identify and resolve any bugs, and your contributions would be warmly welcomed! Thank you once again for your understanding and support.

There is no word in the English language that can adequately describe what Western governments are doing to #Gaza and her people. History is going to look on every single government that aided, abetted, and supported #Israel with scorn, derision, and ire. Humanity frankly doesn't deserve to survive at this point. We are irredeemable as a species. @israel@a.gup.pe @palestine@a.gup.pe @gaza@a.gup.pe

P!nk - 90 Days ft. Wrabel (Official Video)

No-no-no, no-no-no, no
Hey
No-no-no, no-no-no, no

We're driving in a black car
And it's blacked out and we're spinnin'
We're listening to "Fast Car"
And you're driving fast and you're singin'
Don't wanna tell you what I'm feelin'
Don't want this night to hit a ceiling
I'm wearing dirty white shoes
A white t-shirt and your jacket
I'm laughing, but I'm lying
When you're smiling, I'm the saddest
I hide my face so you don't see it
I think out loud, hope you don't hear it

It's going on 18 months now
And it's fucked up, but I'm falling
I feel it every day now
But I'm stallin', but I'm stallin'
I'm here, but I'm in pieces
And I don't know how to fix this
And I don't know how to fix this, no

If I'm just somebody that you're gonna leave
And you don't feel something when you look at me
You're holdin' my heart, mmm, whatcha say?
Just let me down slowly, I'll be okay
If you're just some habit that I gotta break
I can clear my system in 90 days
You're holdin' my heart, mmm, whatcha say?
Just let me down slowly

I get up, turn the lights out
And it's four o'clock in the morning
I close my eyes, I can't sleep
A hotel room in New York, and
I feel the space that's in between us
Convince myself that this is real love

'Cause you made this shit so easy
And I told you my secrets
So I don't know why I'm tongue tied
At the wrong time when I need this
I'm here, but I'm in pieces
And I don't know how to fix this
And I don't know how to fix this, no

If I'm just somebody that you're gonna leave
And you don't feel something when you look at me
You're holdin' my heart, mmm, whatcha say?
Just let me down slowly, I'll be okay
If you're just some habit that I gotta break
I can clear my system in 90 days
You're holdin' my heart, mmm, whatcha say?
Just let me down slowly

I-I-I, I-I-I, I-I-I
Ooh, no
We're drivin' in your fast car, your fast car
We're drivin' in your fast car, your fast car
We're drivin' in your fast car, your fast car
We're drivin' all night

We're drivin' in your fast car, your fast car, yeah
We're drivin' in your fast car, your fast car, yeah
We're drivin' in your fast car, your fast car, yeah
We're drivin' all night

If I'm just somebody that you're gonna leave
And you don't feel something when you look at me
You're holdin' my heart, mmm, whatcha say?
(Oh, you're holdin' my heart)
Just let me down slowly, I'll be okay
If you're just some habit that I gotta break (Gotta break)
I can clear my system in 90 days
You're holdin' my heart, mmm, whatcha say? (Oh, you're holdin' my heart)

Evanescence - Everybody's Fool

Perfect by nature
Icons of self-indulgence
Just what we all need
More lies about a world that

Never was and never will be
Have you no shame?
Don't you see me?
You know you've got everybody fooled

Look, here she comes now
Bow down and stare in wonder
Oh, how we love you
No flaws when you're pretending
But now I know she

Never was and never will be
You don't know how you betrayed me
And somehow, you've got everybody fooled

Without the mask
Where will you hide?
Can't find yourself
Lost in your lie

I know the truth now
I know who you are
And I don't love you anymore

It never was and never will be
You don't know how you betrayed me
And somehow, you've got everybody fooled

Never was and never will be
You're not real and you can't save me
And somehow, now you're everybody's fool

All Steak-umm products are made by grinding beef (or Angus beef) scraps, homogenizing them into a smooth texture, forming them into a loaf, freezing, and slicing thinly for quick cooking.

The high saturated fat content and potential presence of hormones or POPs are noted concerns, particularly for frequent consumption. The Cuban Style version’s added sugar and natural flavors add further nutritional and transparency issues.

Processed offcuts - yum yum!

Just in for repairs, 4.5ct natural zircon.

SAAR! SAAR DO NOT REDEEM THE GEMSTONE SAAR!

More of the finest cutting from Anal Prikshit. I can’t blame the jeweler for cracking it. The girdle is a razor blade and the crown is coming up like 0.2mm.

But those scratches all over the meet points, the off center pavilion, and random ass facets that don’t meet is just *smooch* chef’s kiss. Finest traditional Indian craftsmanship. A+++ native cut.

in reply to dobó istván

Unfortunately I’m not being asked to fully refacet this guy: just clean it up enough to set it and sell it.

Stone came in about 0.2mm all the way around to get below the damage and create a girdle so it doesn’t crack again, then cabbed off the top to make it a buff cut.

Cut on 400 grit silicon carbide with rubber drums, then polished with 600, 1200, and 3000 grit diamond, plus a final hit of a mix of 14K and 50K on a felt wheel.

Finished at 4.15ct

Let's start with the laptop, because this is where things take shape before I make them on the desktop.

I use 2 laptops. The first one is a Slimbook Executive 16, and the second is a Tuxedo Stellaris 15.

They both use a core i7 12700H, they both have 16 gigs of RAM, and the Slimbook has an RTX 3050Ti, where the Stellaris has a 3060. They both have 1440p screens. Both laptops run Fedora GNOME, using Wayland, with a few extensions.

First is the all important appindicator support. I also added the "Notification banner reloaded" extension, the Quick Settings tweaker extension, the Privacy Quick settings menu, GS connect, and I have light / dark theme switcher.

And to manage these extensions, I use Extension Manager, a wonderful app that lets you browse, install, update and configure everything.

On top of that, I installed the libadwaita GTK3 theme so apps that haven't been ported to GTK4 still look like the rest of my desktop, as much as possible.

First is writing my scripts. To do that, I use the Iotas Note application. To research scripts, I use Firefox as my web browser, with the Nextcloud passwords extension to sync them between devices.

My laptops are also where I do most of my email, and for that, I use Geary. I also handle all my todo lists on my laptops, and for that I use Endeavour.

I also use the Nextcloud desktop client to sync all my files between devices, and the Synology Drive client, which has a COPR repo that packages it. And finally, I have the occasional use for the GIMP, and OnlyOffice.

I make heavy use of the split screen feature. I also use the activities view, by using touchpad gestures. 3 fingers up on the touchpad brings the overview, and then I can just select a window, or open a new one from the bottom dock or using the keyboard.

My desktop has a Ryzen 7 5800X, an RTX 3070, and 32 gigs of RAM. It's plugged into an LG curved ultrawide monitor at 1440p, and I use a logitech MX Master S3 as my mouse, plus some generic logitech speakers.

My desktop runs Fedora 37, with GNOME. I also add the exact same extensions as on my laptop. I also don't use minimizing at all.

Then, I use Davinci Resolve to do the actual editing. If I need an illustration, like a screenshot, I'll just use the Firefox screenshot tool to capture parts of a webpage, or the whole webpage entirely,.

If I need to record my screen, I use OBS. If I need to quickly download a meme video, or one of my own that I didn't back up, I use Tube Converter. All my Virtual Machine needs are handled using GNOME Boxes, I upload my videos using Firefox, all my thumbnails are done using GIMP.

To record podcasts, I use Audacity with a Blue Yeti microphone.

I use the keyboard a lot here, with the super key being used to open the activities view, or a double tap of the super key to access the app launcher, I use super + left or super + right to tile a window, and super + alt + an arrow key to move to another workspace. When I need to quickly move a window to the next workspace, I use super + alt + shift and an arrow key.

I also use the super key to drag windows around, or super + middle click to quickly resize a floating window.
