#Palestine / Illegal outposts erected in villages in Masafer Yatta in attempt to expel residents
In early May, most homes in the village of Khalat a-Daba in Masafer Yatta were demolished by the Civil Administration, forcing residents into tents and caves. Settlers then established an outpost inside two caves, displacing families and bringing hundreds of sheep and goats that damaged trees.
After the settlers left, residents feared they were promised something in return for dismantling the outpost themselves. According to Jaber Dbabsa, this mirrors the situation in Mughayyir al-Deir (a small Palestinian Bedouin community located about 5 kilometers southeast of the village Yatta, was inhabited by around 25 families from the Ka’abneh tribe). Despite the destruction and confiscation of property, the residents of Khalat a-Daba remain.
Following the demolition of homes, settlers attacked the village, leading to arrests. A resident was arrested for filing a complaint after settlers occupied his cave. Attacks by the army and settlers have increased in recent years, with homes burned and pogroms [note the use of the loaded term #pogrom in the original text in Hebrew] committed.
Since the start of the war, residents of over 60 communities in Area C have been displaced, and more than 80 outposts have been established. According to Souod Dbabsa, settlers want to control the village to disconnect the other villages in Masafer Yatta.

Da ist der Anruf von einem verzweifelten Jugendamts -Mitarbeiter zwei kleine Kinder. Brüder. Ein Säugling. Ein gewalttätiger Vater. Sie wurden rausgeholt Das immer die Spitze des Eisbergs. Es gab keine Einrichtung. Der Mitarbeiter des Jugendamtes nächtigte mit ihnen in einer Jugendherberge.
Ich habe beide Kinder in Obhut genommen. Wissend, dass es eigentlich unsere Kapazitäten übersteigt. Hoher Krankenstand. Gebeutelte Mitarbeiter. Aber wo hätten sie hin gesollt. Nun fragt der kleine fünfjährige immer. "Wo ist mein Baby"? 🥺 Es ist in einer Pflegefamilie.
Und dann haben wir die vielen Jungs die eindeutig sexualisiertes Verhalten zeigen. Wo es keine Beweise gibt. Wo bei Ankunft in unserer Einrichtung der offenen Jugendhilfe die erste und wichtigste Frage ist" habt ihr einen Kühlschrank? Darf ich den sehen"? Wenn der Kopf voller Narben ist.
Ich arbeite da, wo neunjährige nicht in der Lage sind, durch jahrelange Verwahrlosung ein eigenes Brot zu schmieren. Wo wir ganz unten ansetzen müssen. Kinder, die nie draußen waren. Die nichts kennen. Die mit 11 Jahren nicht Radfahren können. Die weinen, wenn sie eins bekommen. Da arbeite ich.
Ich arbeite da, wo Kinder und Jugendliche derartig traumatisiert sind, dass sie uns angreifen. Weil sie nicht mehr wissen, wohin mit ihrer ohnmächtigen Wut. Oder die ganz stillen, die gar nicht mehr reden. Wo es lange braucht vertrauen aufzubauen. Und nie wissen, ob es ausreicht. Für später
Da ist der Junge, der seine drogenabhängige Mutter mit fünf Jahren am Leben gehalten hat, indem er sie gefüttert hat. Dessen Wahrnehmung heute so zerstört ist, dass er andere zerstören will. Wir tragen das. Wir ertragen das. Wir tragen es für die Kinder und mit den Kindern.
Wir versuchen mit ihnen ein Päckchen zu packen. Was sie vielleicht später, wenn sie in konfliktsituationen als Erwachsene sind, noch mal aufmachen können. In der Hoffnung, dass ihr Weg nicht der ist. Den viele unserer Kinder gehen: in den Knast. Wir machen Überstunden. Wir sind immer Standby.
Den Job kannst du nicht machen und schaffst es auch nicht, wenn du Kinder, wenn du Menschen nicht liebst. Du gehst an deine Grenzen. Und das freiwillig und gerne. Und wenn es Not tut, halten wir die Kinder, liegen mit ihnen auf dem Boden und halten sie . Manchmal stundenlang.
Und hier will Friedrich Merz Gelder kürzen? Was würde das bedeuten? Weniger Personal. Kein Fachpersonal. Lohnabsenkungen? Kürzungen der Tagessätze? Was? Das können wir nicht. Und das werde ich persönlich auch nicht kampflos hinnehmen. Alerta! #Merz
Merz hat halt keine Ahnung. Gerade in Dortmund ist das System schon soweit runtergerockt, dass gerade engagierte Mitarbeiter aus der Jugendhilfe schnell wieder gehen.
Und beauftragt wird nur der günstigste - Dein behindertes Kind braucht eine Therapie? Viel Spaß auf der Warteliste!

Alerta dem Horrorkabinett: Kürzungen überall in sozialen Bereich: - Kinder, - Jugendhilfe, - Familienhilfe, -Menschen mit Behinderungen, - Gesundheitswesen -> Versuch der Glattbügelung mit der Einstellung billigerer Pflegehelfer*innen und Assistenzkräften (Meine Erfahrung: endet im noch grösseren Chaos, als im eh schon täglichen Chaos) - kaputte Schulen und zu wenig Lehrer*innen->Versuch der Glattbügelung mit billigeren "Drittkräften" und "Quereinsteiger*innen. - Kaputtesparte Intergrationshilfe - etc ... pp...
Was bleibt von Menschen, wenn das Soziale in ihnen politisch ignoriert, ja negiert, sogar bekämpft wird ? ➡️
Als Lehrerin kenne ich die Zustände und ich habe das Gefühl es wird in Schüben schlimmer. Überforderte Familien, Gewalt, Alkohol und dazwischen immer die Kids. Und das Jugendamt wird kaputt gespart! Die können schon lange nicht mehr, sie sind einfach zu wenige 😔
@admin Wird es. Die Schwere der Traumata hat sich verändert. Sie sind komplex und vielschichtig. Wir hatten früher mit sozialverwahrlossten, Kindern und Jugendlichen zu tun. Heute sind sie hochgradig traumatisiert. Es hat sich quantitativ und qualitativ verändert
@admin Und ja, wenn dann wieder irgendetwas ganz übles passiert ist in einer Familie. schreien wieder alle "das jugendamt das jugendamt!". Man sollte nicht so leichtfertig mit solch plakativen Sätzen umgehen. Ich kenne das Gegenteil. Seit Jahren. Hoch engagierte Mitarbeiter*innen. Und ein System das letzten Endes alle im Stich lässt. Alles reicht hinten und vorne nicht mehr.
@admin Aber es gibt auch die schönen Sachen. Wir verwalten unsere Gelder selbst. Und wir haben kinokarten geschenkt bekommen. Das können wir uns sonst vielleicht einmal im Jahr leisten. Aber ohne Popcorn und Nachos.... Und da wir den Eintritt nicht zahlen müssen. Gehen wir danach mit den Kindern essen. Das Budget ist knapp. Aber die jetzt an den Feiertagen bei uns sind, haben gar keine Familie mehr, die mal kommen würden oder wo sie hin könnten. Also: es wird ein besonderer Tag. 🥰
Ich frage mich schon lange, warum es in der Politik so wenig Interesse gibt, wenigstens Kinderrechte zu stärken. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass Familien mit Kindern „belächelt“ werden, so nach dem Motto: selbst schuld, wenn du Kinder bekommst und als Erwachsener abrutscht. Da musste dann halt durch! Ich weiß nicht mehr, wie diese verrohte Politik noch aufgehalten werden kann 🤷🏻♀️
@admin und eigentlich ist da vorher schon so viel schief gegangen, dass eine Familie so kaputt ist, dass das Jugendamt eingeifen muss. Und da passiert ja genau so wenig, bzw. Wird gekürzt. Der einzige konservative Take ist dann nur noch "wer sich keine Kinder leisten kann, der sollte keine Kinder in die Welt setzen"... Next Stop: Zwangssterilisation für arme Menschen.
@flxtr Und das, was ich hier schreibe, ist nur ein kleiner Ausschnitt.... Als junge Sozialarbeiterin war ich anfangs im Bereich Eingliederungshilfe/ Menschen mit Behinderung, tätig. Da fange ich erst gar nicht an zu "erzählen"...
Rita, während meines 🤏 vor Ende nicht abgeschlossenen Psychostudiums, welches ich mir mit NWen als Krankenschwester finanzierte, musste ich Studiumsintern auch 2 unbezahlte Praktika machen. Ich tat das - in einem Frauenhaus, und - als niedrigschwelliges Angebot (im Bus herumfahrend) im Bereich der Hilfe für minderjährige Prostituierte.
Das war Ende der 80er. Und damals schon war ich, die Praktikantin, in diesen Projekten mit unbezahlten 40 Wochenstunden im Team schon die "belastbarste" Kraft, da meine Kolleginnen mit ihren jeweils bewilligten und von der Stadt bezahlten 20-Stunden-Woche ca. gut 1/3 ihrer Arbeitszeit darauf verwenden mussten, dass ihre Stelle weiterfinanziert wird (unnützer Büro- und Rechtfertigungskram).
@Rant_ifa 🎗️ Rant_ifa Unbarmherzigkeit wird als "hartes Durchgreifen" verkauft und akzeptiert. Ich muss dir leider recht geben. Der bürgerliche Mief, welcher Parteifarbe auch immer, quillt aus allen Poren.
Meine Kolleginnen die Kinder behandeln erzählen auch, dass die Probleme mit denen Kinder in die Praxis kommen komplexer werden. Viel mehr Kinder mit Problemen im Sozialverhalten. Selbst wenn man es rein wirtschaftliche betrachtet (was nie das entscheidende sein darf, wenn es um Menschen geht) ist es doch günstiger Kinder auf die richtige Bahn zu bringen, damit sie selbständige Erwachsene werden können. 1/2
@die_Ergo Ich glaube wir müssen aufhören, von so hehren Zielen wie "sparen" zu sprechen. Hier geht es nicht um sparen in dem Sinne, damit andere Soziale Programme besser balanciert werden können. Hier geht es um *Bereicherung* auf Kosten derer, die sich nicht wehren können. Die Abschaffung des Sozialstaats ist (in meinen Augen) nichts anderes als blanke Korruption
ganz ehrlich? Was erwartest du von Menschen, die durch ihren Reichtum so weit weg von jeder Realität sind? Deren Weltbild nur „immer mehr für mich“ heißt. Danke, daß du trotzdem für die Schwachen und Hilflosen kämpfst. Und wenn du nur eine(n) rettest… danke.
wenn man sich überlegt, dass sich die jetzige Problemlage aufgrund von trauatisierten Menschen ja frühestens in einer Generation, also 25...30 Jahre "rauswachsen" kann durch Maßnahmen, dann finde ich es total unverständlich, warum Stellen und deren Finanzierung nicht verstetigt werden.
Selbst VWLer müssen sehen, dass psychisch stabile, nicht-straffällige und nicht-drogenabhängige Menschen "besser" für einen Staat sind als das Gegenteil. Nur irgendwann fiele dann das Bild weg, was man Menschen als "die Anderen" und als "du willst doch nicht SO werden" vor die Nase halten kann.
Es wäre schön, wenn wir alle mehr darüber sprechen, wie und wo wir uns engagieren oder einfach im Alltag etwas Positives bewirken oder die Zivilgesellschaft stärken.
