For all the phases of the war, Palestinian factions (with Hamas as forefront) show a great ability on the negotiation tables, fighting diplomatically for the best possible future. Paragraph by paragraph. Day by day.
The problem is that the rest of the "players" look less like negotiators and more like sellers in an open market. There are no clear (written) proposals, no guarantees for agreements, no willingness to have a "serious" profile while negotiate. Nothing. The level of Hamas leadership is much greater than (even) the american delegations.
PS. An honor to Blinken. This guy is the biggest joke of diplomacy for the last years.

It also turns out that whatever decision gets on the table is a collective decision and not a "we decide and we order" decision from Hamas.

PIJ confirmed that Hamas consulted with them and provided detailed feedback on implementation for a responsible reply.
A #PFLP leadership source told Al-Hadaf that the Front met with Hamas to seriously discuss the draft. They offered feedback and amendments, which were approved, to stop the war and allow aid without obstacles. The PFLP’s changes concerned the wording of clauses to avoid exploitation by the occupation and a return of the aggression.
#DFLP affirmed that they held consultations with Hamas and #PIJ in #Egypt, and the unified national vision for the day after the war.
The #Fatah Al-Intifada movement congratulated #Hamas on its “great national achievement” against the “#zionist occupier and its partner, #American #imperialism and #NATO allies.” They expressed their confidence in Hamas’ continued leadership of the Palestinian resistance on the path to liberation from the river to the sea.

in reply to Proletarian Rage • • •Among the apparent concessions to #Hamas in the document, one involves the timing of the release of Israeli captives held in Gaza. Israel had wanted ten living captives released within a week of a ceasefire taking effect, while the new proposal would see eight released on the first day and the remaining two on day 50. Hamas has expressed concern that Israel would resume the war after retrieving its captives.
The proposal states that negotiations for a permanent ceasefire should be concluded during the 60-day truce, but, if necessary, “the temporary ceasefire may be extended.” It adds that the U.S., Egypt and Qatar “will ensure that serious negotiations continue for an additional period,” if necessary. Palestinian negotiators believe this language allows too much leeway for Israel to resume the military assault on #Gaza should it decide it no longer wants a ceasefire and instead to continue its war of annihilation and conquest.

All the plans of the occupation have failed. They were waiting from Witkoff (the hawk) - carrying the demands of Israel and only these- to make the #PalestinianResistance kneel on the negotiations proving, once again, that americans are not serious negotiators. bbc.com/news/articles/crrqrz85…
Occupation wanted the starving population to start fight each other and to bring civil war among the starved. todon.nl/@prolrage/11476375383… Palestinians proved how much civilized and political motivated they are (just imagine zionazis, who were closing the doors of bunkers to each other, to face a situation like this...) without allowing themselves to be tool of the occupation.
Resistance is still active and brings death and destruction to #IOF.
Netanyahu is at a dead end.

This came despite significant progress and broad agreement with terms presented by mediators. He stated that “there is no meaning in continuing negotiations under siege, genocide, and starvation” of Gaza’s children, women, and residents.
He provided a detailed account of the negotiation process in a televised address. He emphasized that the resistance leadership demonstrated maximum flexibility over 22 months of arduous talks, prioritizing the people’s interests and aiming to stop bloodshed. He affirmed that the last round saw clear progress and significant agreement, particularly on withdrawal, prisoner exchange, and aid delivery, with positive responses initially received from Israel.
... While criticizing Arab and Islamic silence, al-Hayya praised generous and supportive initiatives. He specifically mentioned military and popular support from “brotherly” #Yemen and important and effective initiatives from global movements, including land and sea marches, the #Madeline and #Handala ships, the global march towards #Gaza, and the first steadfastness convoy that departed from #Tunisia, #Algeria, and #Libya.

Israeli newspaper Maariv: The current understandings with Hamas are not new, and were proposed since March but Netanyahu rejected them for political reasons; Hamas has not changed its demands and insists on ending the war or serious negotiations; Netanyahu presented Washington with a partial agreement for prisoner release aimed at stabilizing his government domestically.

You know those brown indigenous people, always breaking ceasefires. You can’t trust them. That’s why the white man must bring civilisation to the savages! It’s good the colony is constantly breaking the ceasefires as it shows the savages how to be civilised. The natives should be thankful really…

We offered a vision for all the issues on the table, whether related to maps, prisoner exchange mechanisms, aid, or guarantees for continuing negotiations beyond the 60-day period,” said Hamad. “That’s why the American position was surprising; it was tense and rigid, offering no explanations. Instead, it relied on the language of threats and intimidation.”
Basem Naim, another senior Hamas official, told Drop Site, “Trump is playing a strategic game of deception,” adding that the U.S. and Israel were seeking to increase pressure on Hamas to capitulate. He said Trump’s comments, and similar ones made by Witkoff, were intended to apply “more pressure before the next round” of negotiations.
Some analysts have suggested that if Netanyahu had signed a deal prior to the recession of the Israeli Knesset on July 27, he would have contended with the possible collapse of his governing coalition, so Netanyahu has, instead, delayed signing the deal. The Knesset is not scheduled to reconvene until October."

All of their policy is based on bullying and force. Their only language is this and they send some "sirs" on negotiation tables that are ridiculous. Israel had a thug (but reliable) as a negotiator, Ronen Bar, and the war cabinet replaced him - they took his position to neutralize him.
How a serious entity, state, organization or whatever can negotiate with israelis and americans?
