Uh guys? I'm watching Trump's ralley and he just was listing off all the bad groups of people and he mentioned we gotta do something about the Shylocks. I was like wait what? I had to look it up

My intention isn't to swing in, shaming ourguys for being excited--but rather to rein in the jumping whenever we're shown the barest ankle. It's a tease (and one likely even unintended, tbh).

Elon did a straight up Roman salute. A tease--perhaps intended.
Trump (after saving Israel just last week) is not rallying a cry against jews or even "just the business coy jews" in saying "Shylock."

He's doing boomer-tier, reddit name-calling. That's just an old businessman's "Voldemort", "Vader." It's calling out a *business* practice. He's just naming a fictional character, real reddit-level stuff.

Why such an obscure one? It's not. It's old business lingo. (I'm not in business, but even I've heard this, have read this term--even in normie books.)
It's like the left saying "the 1%" or the right saying "international globalists." They're not nudge-nudge nodding.
Trump is inviting 500,000+ Chinese on visas. He's not "saving Israel for last" or thinking about the 14 words. His married kids are married off to jews.

Have a good night despite this, guys, but don't gush over a boomer when he speaks like a redditor to show off his Yuge Brain at the 250th Pride Parade.

The 1775 Two Step That Led to American Independence

Regardless of Oval Office revisionism, Americans should never forget that their nation was forged in resistance to political slavery and claims by distant masters to unlimited power. Let us remember that the United States was founded on freedom, liberty and the rugged individualism of the White patriarchy. That's what they have taken from us.

The Declaration on Taking Up Arms contains flashes of wisdom that should have been burned into popular memory as much as any phrase from the following year’s Declaration of Independence. In 1775, Congress boldly declared that “our attachment to no nation upon earth should supplant our attachment to liberty.” Unfortunately, Washington policymakers long ago buried that maxim in their pursuit of dominating much of the globe.

This is a dangerous and deeply authoritarian move from the UK government. Terrorism legislation should not be used against non-violent protestors.

It's been condemned by UN human rights experts and Amnesty International have called it an "egregious abuse" of power.

For all the phases of the war, Palestinian factions (with Hamas as forefront) show a great ability on the negotiation tables, fighting diplomatically for the best possible future. Paragraph by paragraph. Day by day.
The problem is that the rest of the "players" look less like negotiators and more like sellers in an open market. There are no clear (written) proposals, no guarantees for agreements, no willingness to have a "serious" profile while negotiate. Nothing. The level of Hamas leadership is much greater than (even) the american delegations.

PS. An honor to Blinken. This guy is the biggest joke of diplomacy for the last years.

There is no truth on western media about USA role in Middle East. Israel is the proxy of the empire trying to flare up the whole region (in Ukraine they didn't succeed) to push for a wider war.

"Hamas officials said they were surprised by Trump’s comments and those of Special Envoy Steve Witkoff. “What Hamas presented—both in word and deed—represented a positive, realistic, and flexible position. We offered a vision for all the issues on the table, whether related to maps, prisoner exchange mechanisms, aid, or guarantees for continuing negotiations beyond the 60-day period,” said Hamad. “That’s why the American position was surprising; it was tense and rigid, offering no explanations. Instead, it relied on the language of threats and intimidation.”

Basem Naim, another senior Hamas official, told Drop Site, “Trump is playing a strategic game of deception,” adding that the U.S. and Israel were seeking to increase pressure on Hamas to capitulate. He said Trump’s comments, and similar ones made by Witkoff, were intended to apply “more pressure before the next round” of negotiations.

Some analysts have suggested that if Netanyahu had signed a deal prior to the recession of the Israeli Knesset on July 27, he would have contended with the possible collapse of his governing coalition, so Netanyahu has, instead, delayed signing the deal. The Knesset is not scheduled to reconvene until October."

If you see the first posts of this thread you will understand that nobody has to be a clairvoyant to see that US and Israel are not reliable negotiators. All of their policy is based on bullying and force. Their only language is this and they send some "sirs" on negotiation tables that are ridiculous. Israel had a thug (but reliable) as a negotiator, Ronen Bar, and the war cabinet replaced him - they took his position to neutralize him.
How a serious entity, state, organization or whatever can negotiate with israelis and americans?

Great job by the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, who spearheaded the drive in Congress for the approval of the “ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL ACT.” He has Great Strength and Wisdom, and will go down as one of the most successful Speakers of the House in History, maybe even the BEST OF THEM ALL. Thank you Mike, and congratulations on a job well done!

The strikes followed a night of intensified ISR aggression across southern lebanon. The bombardment was accompanied by continuous hostile aerial activity that lasted until the early hours of the morning."

"Israel" launched a series of airstrikes on Lebanon on Thursday, targeting several areas in southern Lebanon.

Israeli forces carried out a series of airstrikes along the Litani River, hitting the area between the southern Lebanese towns of Zrariye and Deir Seryan, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.

Additionally, Israeli warplanes also struck the Al-Mahmoudiya and Burghaz regions in the south, according to our correspondent.

Earlier, Israeli forces targeted a civilian vehicle in the Khaldeh area, south of Lebanon’s capital Beirut, as reported by Al Mayadeen’s correspondent, while the Lebanese Health Ministry confirmed in a preliminary toll that the airstrike killed one person and wounded three others, marking another escalation in Israel’s ongoing attacks on Lebanese territory.

This comes as "Israel" continues to violate the ceasefire in Lebanon, launching airstrikes and killing civilians across the country.

New blog post! I wrote about one of the weirdest CDs in my collection - a CD single with a few lo-fi music videos and the distinct vibes that this is the leftover wreckage of what was supposed to be a much bigger project that never came to pass.
