It is actually very difficult to externally rotate the hips as much as they do in ballet for some people that have never trained in it even if they can do the splits and had a lot of yoga

Balancing on only the toes instead of the whole foot is also challenging

These two features make ballet exercise unique compared too many other common types of exercise and uniquely different than many other types of dance

shortstories reshared this.

Princess Tutu is a Japanese Anime that goes into great detail about ballet style when people move

Even when they are running or dance fighting they run with the hips externally rotated like in ballet

If you like ballet I strongly reccommend watching Princess Tutu if you can watch the whole series for free

@shortstories My sister did ballet for years. She did not pursue it. She was remarkably fit and lithe.
We are estranged...
This reminded me of her.
Sorry for rambling. Perhaps it was just cathartic release.

Aside: yoga is not a fitness regime. It is a spiritual practice to be grounded with Nature. Western ideas have subverted it. Unfortunate.

Also: The Russians were clearly better at this performance of Swan Lake. Synchronization and smoothness of movement.

Programming a computer is not weird or abstract or even that difficult. It's just writing a list of steps in a format your machine can understand. In theory, a human being could also "execute" a program as well if they understood how it worked.

And computers are just electronic circuits that are designed to execute stored programs. Programming is the original way to use a computer.

In The Age Of AI, We Each Have To Choose How Much Of Our Humanity We Want To Keep

We now each have to decide as individuals just how human we wish to keep our experience, because we’re hitting a point where we can become just about as divorced from the things that make us human as we want to be.

These guys have a pretty good take on recent history and military operations and politics. A lot of things come to proxy wars between US and Russia/China, and while I can understand US animosity towards China, although even a lot of that I think initially was based upon fear, we feared communism would take over all of Asia even though we knew historically it always fails, and even today China has adopted a strong bit of capitalism in their economic system. So we had the proxy war in Viet Nam and Laos over this fear. I do not understand why we do not get along with Russia, after all our people are both largely Caucasian, our languages have most of the same vowels and consonants and are not that dissimilar, and in modern times our culture isn't even huge different. We both have major oil interests, and so there is competition there, but there could be cooperation and I think it would benefit both countries and the world at large. Given that we, Russia and the USA, were allies during WWII, I am not clear on how we became enemies.

Quite frankly, Epstein is fertilizer, Virginia, God rest her soul, is no longer able to tell her story, and Ghislaine is old news and dead meat, so I don't give a crap about the Epstein list or his excuses from Epstein's Mother. All I care about is getting these Democrat rioters off of ICE's back, getting these illegals to the hellholes where they belong, because they aren't worth the time and money wasted on their asses, and getting the rioters two choices: prison or the

I can think of a few reasons why no Epstein list.
1. There is no formal list but those involved are known.
2. Legal actions are being taken right now and any list or names cannot be released.
3..We knowl what happened but nothing further can be gained.
4. Clinton, Obama and others are involved but the fallout would derail more important actions by Trump, so let it sit for a later time.

The Zionist Interior Minister, Moshe Arbel, has banned anti-Zionist Rabbi Yisroel [Dovid] Weiss from entering occupied Palestine just hours after a meeting between the rabbi and Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi. During the meeting, Rabbi Weiss conveyed a message of solidarity with the people of Iran in light of recent Israeli military aggression against the country. He also expressed the stance of the Jewish opposition to Zionism and its crimes.

This move by the Israeli government reflects its growing intolerance toward dissenting voices, particularly those who publicly criticize its policies or engage with nations considered adversaries.

In response to the ban imposed upon him, Rabbi Weiss issued a powerful statement:

“Advocating for peace should not be a crime. However, in the Zionist entity, it clearly is—because Zionism thrives on war and conflict. Its very existence goes against the will of God. It depends on occupation, murder, and crimes.”

He continued, “I do not expect permission from the Zionists to enter Palestine. Thieves do not get to decide who enters stolen property. I have never visited the Zionist entity, nor do I plan to visit occupied Palestine as long as it remains under Zionist control.”

He added: “In the past, I visited Gaza for humanitarian reasons, entering through Rafah. I am prepared to visit a liberated Palestine in the future—with permission from its legitimate Palestinian government.”

@thetnholler.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy Bullshit. Steve Bannon was never "rich" enough (or powerful enough) to be in Epstein's circle let alone in those fucking files. The only reason we're still talking about him today is because he sucked Trump's cock.
