I just realized this whole thing is PROBABLY a marketing ploy.

I mean, I'm sure they're actually making hardened XC90s, and I'm sure they pass the tests they say they pass, but are the people who need a hardened vehicle using a Volvo?

IMO not really.

Volvo is "luxury" in the sense of a lawyer's car, not like oligarch transport from the airport to the WEF convention. Real oligarchs will be riding in Maybach, Rolls Royce, etc and they don't mind having the car retrofitted by a 3rd party.

So is this going to sell a lot of units? IMO not really. But as a branding move, it's brilliant. Volvo, which has long been regarded as the car of a responsible father with a well paying profession, is CLAIMING to be appropriate for the monied class. People with real enemies (often deserved) and real risk of being assassinated while they leave the climate change conference.

Never trust the transport security or that the software will ensure that everything is encrypted correctly. If you encrypt yourself, you are proceeding safely and your security should be worth it when it comes to digital resistance.

However, this encryption has one disadvantage. You can be tortured into revealing your password and then it can be used to decrypt everything. Stay tuned if you want to learn more about encryption.

Hey #Uruguay folks! I have cousins outside of Montevideo who have a complex of mental health and physical issues, and who are in food insecurity, and who have struggled to access services there. We have been sending them money for years but it's beyond our means. They need a social worker, and have failed to find one through regular channels. Is there such a thing as a private social worker who we can hire to get them into the system?

The average tomato picker pulls 650lbs per hour.

It’s not a bad thing but it’s always nice to see people that started transitioning longer ago, being someone that started my transition 11 years ago.

Un tema interesante que tiene varias aristas o vertientes según se mire, desde luego hay una hipocresia cuándo se habla de lo bueno de que vengan personas de otros países pero oye, las condiciones laborales ya tal... 🤔

Y claro, si esos aceptan ser explotados, habrá gente de este país que no lo acepte y así se retroalimenta, que por cierto, mucha vicepresidenta de Ministerio de Trabajo pero NO veo hacer REDADAS de inspecciones de trabajo y menos aún sin avisar...

Si es en el mismo centro de Madrid y ves obras con gente extranjera y veo que ni se cumplen las normas de seguridad, prevención de riesgos etc.

Pero otro tema aparte... mucha de esa gente, es fanática en tema religioso y con ese nexo en común, votan a la derecha o derecha externa, aunque cueste creee para MAL 😱
