We have ‘interesting’ xenophobia though coz it’s mainly from the Singaporean Chinese population towards those other Chinese people who are ‘not like us’, recent mainland Chinese immigrants who arrived in Singapore.. 20-80 years after our own grandparents did.
Whenever you ask one of these assholes to define what it means to be Singaporean Chinese and why a PRC Chinese can’t be accepted they always just end up with.. different food, don’t speak English / Singlish

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Wednesday two military operations against vital Zionist targets in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The YAF’s Missile Force carried out a top-tier military operation targeting a vital Zionist site in the occupied Haifa area using a hypersonic ballistic missile, spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree said.

On Tuesday evening, US aircraft carried out four airstrikes on the al-Salem district in Saada, northern Yemen and US-led strikes targeted Kamaran Island in the Red Sea in western Yemen, in addition to two airstrikes on the al-Salif district.
The bombing came after the YAF announced downing an American MQ-9 drone off the coast of Hajjah province that was conducting “hostile missions” in Yemeni airspace.
Saree said the US drone was shot down with a domestically produced surface-to-air missile, noting that this marks the seventh MQ-9 drone downed in April alone, and the 22nd since the beginning of the YAF’s military operations in support of Gaza.
In the same briefing, Saree mentioned that the YAF forces carried out two military operations targeting the US aircraft carriers USS Harry S. Truman and USS Carl Vinson, along with their accompanying warships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.

They don’t disappear because they’ve gone on meth benders. And they don’t fall asleep on a box midshift because their pay from yesterday got converted into pills.

Today Melissa Lewis over on BlueSky pointed out that the font used in the infamous "You wouldn't steal a car" anti-piracy campaign was actually designed by Just van Rossum, whose brother, Guido, created the Python programming language ( bsky.app/profile/melissa.news/… )
She also pointed out that the font had been cloned and released illegally for free under the name "XBAND Rough". Naturally, it would be hilarious if the anti-piracy campaign actually turned out to have used this pirated font, so I went sleuthing and quickly found a PDF from the campaign site with the font embedded ( web.archive.org/web/2005122320… ).

i figured out a way to do my battery discharge test of the LiFePo battery without running a space heater or wasting the charge.
just hooked up the shop lights and a fan, and using a DC clamp meter to measure the current, and then timing how long it takes to completely discharge the battery. this way i can discharge at like 7 amps without heating up the shop with a space heater or something :blackmanthinkingjpeg:
