In the largest eviction of a homeless encampment in recent history, around 100 unhoused people were recently forced to vacate Oregon’s Deschutes National Forest — or else face a $5,000 fine and up to one year in jail.
The forest was the last hope for the encampment’s residents, many of whom were living in broken down RVs and cars. Shelters in nearby Bend — where the average home price is nearly $800,000 — are at capacity, and rent is unaffordable.

Multiple Zionist media platforms on Tuesday reported a security incident in the al-Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City in the northern Gaza Strip, confirming preliminary reports regarding casualties among Israeli occupation forces.
According to reports in the Gaza Strip, Zionist tanks and artillery shelled both al-Shujaiya and al-Tuffah neighborhoods on Tuesday evening. The escalation followed reports of a direct security incident involving occupation forces in the area.
Occupation helicopters opened heavy fire across al-Shujaiya, while warplanes carried out intense air raids simultaneously, according to field updates. The sustained bombardment came after resilient resistance operations against the occupation forces.
The Zionist occupation army acknowledged earlier on Tuesday the deaths of three soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip, following operations by Palestinian resistance groups, who continue to carry out ambushes and targeted strikes.
Zionist Channel 12 confirmed that the three soldiers were killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in Jabalia yesterday. The outlet noted that the evacuation operation was prolonged and took place amid ongoing confrontations, during which several more Zionist soldiers were injured.
The latest developments underscore the intensifying pace of Gaza resistance operations, particularly in the north.
Zionist casualties in al-Shujaiya and the IED attack in Jabalia reflect the continued ability of Palestinian fighters to inflict losses despite the ongoing aerial and ground assault by the occupation forces.
On a related note, Zionist media reported on Monday evening that several occupation soldiers were killed and injured in a serious security incident in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza. According to initial reports, a Zionist military Humvee was struck with an anti-tank missile, resulting in at least two fatalities and multiple injuries.
The incident occurred amid an ongoing confrontation in the area, with Zionist media describing it as part of a broader “ongoing event” involving heavy resistance engagement.
Attempts by occupation forces to evacuate the dead and wounded were reportedly thwarted by intense gunfire, further escalating the confrontation.
In an official statement, the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, confirmed their fighters were involved in point-blank engagement with Zionist soldiers east of the Jabalia refugee camp, asserting that they inflicted direct casualties on the advancing forces.
Batch pyrolysis remains a viable and cost-effective approach in the thermal decomposition of solid waste. While continuous systems dominate high-volume processing operations, batch configurations retain strategic value in localized, flexible, and entry-level applications. Operating a batch pyrolysis plant introduces a set of distinct advantages—technological, economic, and operational—that are critical in niche deployments and small-to-medium waste management scenarios.
The design architecture of a small pyrolysis machine emphasizes mechanical simplicity. Unlike continuous systems with elaborate feeding and discharge subsystems, batch units consist of a closed reaction chamber, manual feeding mechanism, and time-sequenced operation. This structural minimalism translates to:
Lower capital expenditure for initial investment
Fewer wear-prone components, reducing maintenance burden
Minimal automation requirements, lowering system integration complexity
This makes the batch pyrolysis plant particularly suitable for operators entering the pyrolysis sector or those operating in regions with limited technical infrastructure.
Batch pyrolysis machine accommodates a wide spectrum of feedstocks—including scrap tires, plastics, oil sludge, and biomass—without extensive pre-treatment. The operator can manually control feed composition and loading patterns, allowing greater adaptability to heterogeneous waste streams. This feature proves especially valuable for:
Decentralized waste sources with inconsistent input profiles
Experimental or R&D applications requiring varying feed compositions
Custom fuel formulation objectives
In waste-to-energy ecosystems, this flexibility ensures higher resource recovery even with variable supply chains.
A batch pyrolysis plant operates on discrete cycles, allowing precise control over process parameters such as residence time, peak temperature, and heating rate. Such control leads to consistent product yield and quality, especially important in:
Targeted recovery of specific oil fractions
Maximizing carbon black purity from rubber-based inputs
Controlled volatilization for minimal char contamination
This batch-based operational rhythm offers a thermodynamically stable environment, which supports material characterization and product optimization.
Batch pyrolysis is inherently easier to monitor and manage due to its cyclic operation. Each cycle involves a clear sequence—loading, heating, cooling, discharging—which can be individually supervised. As a result:
Thermal anomalies or feed anomalies can be isolated without process-wide disruption
Shut-down procedures are simpler and safer
Maintenance schedules can align with operation pauses, minimizing unplanned downtime
In high-sensitivity environments or where regulatory oversight is stringent, the batch system offers greater transparency in operational metrics.
Despite their lower throughput, batch units can be deployed in modular clusters. This modularization offers operational scalability without the risks associated with large-scale investment. Users can:
Add units incrementally as demand grows
Isolate underperforming modules without halting full operations
Allocate specific units for distinct feedstocks or product goals
This segmentation model supports diversified waste processing strategies while maintaining equipment redundancy and operational resilience.
Batch pyrolysis systems typically require shorter continuous operating times compared to 24/7 continuous systems. Energy input is applied in cycles, and depending on insulation and reactor design, residual heat can be leveraged for preheating subsequent batches. These factors contribute to:
Reduced daily energy expenditure
Possibility of integrating renewable heat sources (e.g., biomass combustion) during idle phases
Lower environmental impact per ton processed
Such energy dynamics support cost containment and align with sustainability benchmarks in off-grid or semi-urban settings.
Batch pyrolysis plants are particularly well-suited for regions in early stages of waste valorization infrastructure. Their low dependence on utilities, simplified training requirements, and reduced compliance overhead make them effective transitional technologies. They serve as:
Demonstration platforms for feasibility studies
Interim solutions before continuous systems are commissioned
Low-risk assets for market testing and technology validation
Governments and private operators often deploy batch systems to establish baseline performance metrics and build operator proficiency before scaling operations.
Nowadays, pyrolysis plant has become a popular technical solution in solid waste disposal (including biomass, plastic, oil sludge, and tire rubber). TheBeston Group

💥 Paukenschlag 💥

Please, tell me again how anarchism is chaos.
If this whole sorry episode of human history shows us one thing, it’s not that “we don’t need leaders” but that the very concept of “leaders” is incompatible with the future of our species. Advanced civilisation cannot survive under these primitive hierarchies that concentrate inordinate amounts of power in the hands of a relative handful of individuals. Look at the sorry state of these danger clowns.
Either we find ways to devolve power, divorce primitive ideals of strong(wo)man leaders, and embrace government as service among peers or I see a very short adolescence stage for humanity that falls shy of reaching adulthood. Our bullshit isn’t new by any means but it wasn’t terminal for the species when we were toddlers. Today, with our level of technology, it very much is.
We could be tending our planet while exploring the stars for a second home to halve our risk of extinction. Instead, we’re navel gazing at its precipice. It’s obscene. masto.ai/@rbreich/114635480242…
