@SirHendrick @HaleakalaCrater To be sure this one had a lot more brass than the one that I had, but massive platters means the belt is going to slip when it starts and they are belt driven, and the slippage wears the belt out rapidly. It's a good design to look at not so much one to play records with. I replaced it with a Kenwood direct drive, it lasted me more than a decade before the spindle bearing finally wore out. Still haven't given up on replacing the bearing since it's been so much otherwise trouble free.
@HaleakalacraterFantastic! The broccolini would deserve its own space, I never thought for one minute it would become this huge! I have to keep trimming the leaves that hide the bell pepper plant in the corner, that one looks like a real runt, had a hard time growing. Not sure if I'll get the chance to get red peppers before autumn arrives.
As for the small cucumber plants, they're coming along nicely too!
@Chronic-Yonic managed to locate a flat of cheap Beefsteak tomatoes so I filled in eight plants in cages in the open dead space. planted some herb plants too. I need to automate watering though I use a soaker hose on a sprinkler zone valve but it has a few really large leaks that need repair. I bought a cheap drip irrigation system on ‘zon I might try that. I’m going to get a lot of zucchini this year. They look cool with the huge flowers.

@Chronic-Yonic it’s so late in the season it’s the only one they had at the nursery I went to. It’s a big variety for sure. In cages and trimming excess shoots you can keep them more in control. They are about 3 feet apart.
