I think thereโs a small exception to this. George Washington in his farewell address, warned that political parties could subvert the checks and balances of the constitution which was designed around checking and balancing individual behavior.
He made the observation that loyalties to a party priorities would render checks and balances inert.
Todayโs government is a product of not only decades of effort of oil wealth, but also tech billionaires.
