Solar Orbiter gets world-first views of the Sun’s south pole

What if we could look at the Sun from a whole new angle, one we've never seen before?

From Earth, we always look towards the Sun's equator. This year, the ESA-led Solar Orbiter mission broke free of this ‘standard’ viewpoint by tilting its orbit to 17° – out of the ecliptic plane where the planets and all other Sun-watching spacecraft reside. Now for the first time ever, we can clearly see the Sun’s unexplored poles.

Using different instruments, Solar Orbiter can see what happens throughout the Sun's outer layers. The material in these layers never stays still, being pushed outward and (usually) falling back to the Sun.

Interestingly, it saw that the Sun's magnetic field has its north and south all tangled up, with patches of both magnetic polarities present right up to the Sun's south pole. This only happens once every 11 years, at the point in the solar cycle when the Sun's magnetic field flips.

Solar Orbiter will keep a close eye on the Sun – including its poles – for the years to come. Its unique viewing angle will change our understanding of the Sun’s magnetic field, the solar cycle and the workings of space weather.

Depuis des décennies, la « solution à deux États » est brandie comme l’unique issue envisageable du conflit israélo-palestinien – alors que c’est un leurre. Elle empêche justement de penser une des causes de l’impossible coexistence : la définition de l’État par le fait ethnique et religieux, qui permet la prolifération d’un nationalisme excluant et mortifère.

Constamment répétée comme une formule magique, « la solution à deux États » au conflit qui déchire la Palestine historique depuis 1948 a, en fait, pour seule fonction de dissimuler et de justifier l’inaction des gouvernements occidentaux et de faire disparaître la seule issue possible de ce conflit qui soit conforme non seulement à la raison mais aux convictions et aux principes dont ces mêmes gouvernements se disent porteurs.
La prétendue « solution à deux États » est à la fois irréaliste, impossible et injuste. Elle est donc incapable de mettre fin au conflit.
Elle est irréaliste parce qu’Israël ne l’acceptera jamais, sauf sous une forme qui en défigurerait entièrement la nature1. Il s’agirait en effet, comme le montre Gilbert Achcar dans un livre récent, d’une nouvelle version du plan Allon de 1967 : l’État hébreu conserverait le contrôle des frontières, en particulier de celle qui longe le Jourdain, tandis que la population palestinienne serait « regroupée » dans deux zones à fort peuplement au nord et au sud de la Cisjordanie, coupées l’une de l’autre par un corridor annexé prolongeant le grand Jérusalem2. Bien entendu, le soi-disant État palestinien ainsi créé ne serait pas un État au sens propre du terme mais une nouvelle prison à ciel ouvert, comme l’a été la bande de Gaza depuis 2007 : pas de souveraineté, pas de forces de défense, une économie asphyxiée, des perspectives de développement inexistantes, une capitale nominale en dehors de Jérusalem. Bref rien de plus qu’une paire de bantoustans sous tutelle, sans continuité territoriale entre eux ni avec la bande de Gaza.
Elle est impossible parce que, aujourd’hui, près de 700 000 colons sont installés, au mépris du droit international, dans les territoires occupés. Qui les expulsera, par la force ou autrement ?
Enfin elle est injuste : quelle raison les 7 millions de Palestiniens qui vivent aujourd’hui sur le territoire de la Palestine mandataire auraient-ils d’accepter la concession qui leur serait faite de 22 % du territoire de la Palestine, quand le plan de partage de 1948, unanimement refusé par eux, leur en accordait près de 40 %, alors même qu’ils constituaient les deux tiers de la population totale à cette date3.
Mais surtout, cette prétendue solution au conflit, cache l’approbation honteuse que des États qui se veulent démocratiques et épris de liberté et de tolérance accordent à ce qui est aujourd’hui une monstruosité politique : une entité étatique qui se définit par le sang, par l’appartenance ethnique supposée commune. Depuis 2018, l’État d’Israël se définit lui-même comme l’État des juifs en sorte que, en puissance, toute personne juive de par le monde – définie comme telle par ses ascendants – a accès à la nationalité israélienne tandis que ses citoyens non juifs n’y ont pas accès.
Nombre d’historiens très sérieux ont mis en doute l’idée que les juifs d’aujourd’hui seraient les descendants en ligne directe du peuple juif du temps de la dispersion et que, par conséquent, ils puissent constituer un peuple au sens ethnique du terme. L’histoire mouvementée des conversions et des reconversions dans le bassin méditerranéen et dans la péninsule ibérique au fil des siècles rend en effet cette idée très improbable, comme l’a montré Maxime Rodinson dès les années 19804.
Mais, sans prendre parti sur cette question, comment des États dont les gouvernants n’ont de cesse de récuser toute idée de définition ethnique de la nation, de prôner un universalisme qui ne tient compte ni des appartenances ethniques, ni des appartenances religieuses, de traquer à outrance les diverses formes de communautarisme, peuvent-ils défendre et protéger un État qui, dans sa forme actuelle, commet les péchés qu’ils condamnent avec tant de vigueur ?

Et il faut mesurer les conséquences de ce nationalisme ethnique et de l’approbation implicite qui lui est accordée par les États qui, aujourd’hui, se réclament de la démocratie et des droits humains. Il est intrinsèquement lié au suprémacisme, au mépris de tous ceux qui ne font pas partie de la « nation »5. Tout nationalisme ethnique de ce type est donc porteur de racisme, d’infériorisation de tous ceux qui rejettent l’oppression et la discrimination qu’il engendre et dont ils sont victimes. Quelle paix, quelle coexistence pacifique peut-il y avoir avec quiconque refuse de se mélanger et rejette ce mélange comme une souillure ?
On ne peut donc pas dissimuler la réalité. Le génocide qui est en cours sous nos yeux à Gaza – car plus personne ne doute qu’il s’agit bel et bien d’une tentative d’élimination – est la conséquence logique, inéluctable, de la redéfinition de l’État d’Israël comme État fondé sur la race et la religion. Comme l’a montré Omer Bartov, l’histoire de l’État d’Israël est structurée autour de la volonté d’effacer, du Jourdain à la mer, jusqu’aux traces de la présence d’un peuple palestinien sur la terre que lui-même revendique, une forme de négationnisme et de réécriture de l’histoire que, là encore, les États qui se veulent démocratiques condamnent partout ailleurs6.
Le conflit entre les deux adversaires n’a donc pas d’autre issue qu’une renonciation totale à l’idée même d’un État ethnique et religieux car c’est cette idée qui est à la racine de la violence et de la haine. Loin de prôner l’illusion des deux États, la communauté internationale doit donc s’employer à isoler par tous les moyens – sanctions économiques, refus des échanges, isolement intellectuel, rupture des partenariats universitaires, exécution des mandats d’arrêts contre les criminels de guerre émis par la Cour pénale internationale – un État qui trahit toutes les idées de paix, de progrès, de droit, de tolérance, et d’humanité qui sont censées faire le patrimoine de notre culture politique contemporaine.
C’est la seule manière de déterminer les israéliens à se débarrasser d’un gouvernement raciste qui est une menace pour eux, de mettre un terme à la fuite en avant suicidaire dans la violence et le massacre qui est pour eux la menace la plus immédiate, et de rompre enfin avec ce qui, aujourd’hui, est le principal ferment de l’antisémitisme. C’est la seule manière de les amener à rejeter l’hérésie d’un État ethniquement défini, fondé sur une mythologie délirante assise sur la négation de l’histoire et des droits d’un autre peuple à vivre en paix sur la terre qui a toujours été la sienne, et de refonder sur le sol de la Palestine un État laïque et démocratique qui sera celui de tous ceux qui y habitent et dont ils seront citoyens à part entière, à égalité de droits7.
Prôner la solution illusoire et injuste des deux États, c’est refuser d’agir concrètement pour obtenir cette renonciation à un suprémacisme qui est aujourd’hui à la fois une honte pour les juifs et un danger pour eux, et c’est aussi refuser la solution du conflit au seul bénéfice du plus fort.

Ensuite pour évaluer une efficacité d'un #vaccin, il faut comparer son effet sur le MÊME virus et non comparer des variants peu mortels avec le SARS2 de base. Ceci revient à comparer des poires et des carburateurs!!!
En quoi ces modèles sont-ils faux?
Les chiffres de mortalités sont tout à fait erronés car mourir "du" COVID est différent de mourir "avec" COVID. Je pourrais argumenter en vous citant des dizaines de publications revues par des pairs qui démontraient cela depuis 2020, mais nous avons mieux.. beaucoup mieux!
Tellement mieux que ... les décideurs politiques ne pourrons jamais venir dire qu'ils ne savaient pas... ils vont donc avoir un problème.. un très gros problème...
Les très faibles taux de #létalité du SARS2 étaient connus - déjà en Février #2020 - par tous nos politiques! Et je peux vous le prouver, ainsi qu'à toute la #Belgique! (1 - image en bas)
Il suffit de lire les mails échangés par Boris Johnson, le premier britannique avec son Ministre de la Santé et un de ses conseillers. Je ne peux résister de vous les mettre en annexe en espérant stimuler votre compréhension à la lecture.
Alors que cette fausse crise entre dans sa 5ème année, il faut maintenant que vous arrêtiez... sinon cela risque de se terminer fort mal pour vous!
Nous pouvons ainsi citer Matt #Hancock " [...] the overall mortality is pretty MEANINGLESS..." et la réponse de Boris "[...] an 80 yr old COVID patient has 6% chance of dying and if you are under 35 your chances of dying are [...] negligible". (voir Image en bas)
Mais nous avons encore mieux: de vraies statistiques de personnes mortes du #COVID et pas "avec Covid".
Pour les deux premières vagues - cad le SARS de base et son premier variant Alpha - nous savons qu'en dessous de 69 ans, sans co-morbidités la mortalité était de 1 sur 300.000!
Et qu'au dessus de 70 ans, cette mortalité augmente en fonction de l'âge et va de 36 pour mille vers 2 puis 4% . Et nous savons qu'en dessous de 20 ans, cela tombait en dessous du 1/million (2).

Démontrons votre stupidité crasse aux yeux de tous nos concitoyens.
Si je regarde la pyramide des âges en BE (3), on peut voir que nous aurions eu un maximum de 10620 morts du COVID si nous n'avions rien fait. Je répète 10 mille 620 morts seulement!
Pour rappel nous en avons eu 33 mille morts en BE!
33 mille c'est trop par rapport à ma surestimation - donc vous pensez bien 62 mille en plus, nous amèneraient vers 100.000 décès...
Et ces 10 milles morts, chers amis menteurs, est une limite supérieure car avec Delta, Mu et Omicron la mortalité et la morbidité ont chuté.
Vous mentez car il est fallacieux de comparer des poires et des carburateurs!
Le variant Delta avait une #mortalité 5 fois plus basse que SARS2 et Alpha.
Cela explique un faux effet du vaccin, car la diminution des victimes à partir de 2021 est lié à cela.
Delta devient majeur un peu avant l'été 2021, et le politique se met à croasser que la campagne de vaccination porte ses fruits...
Rien ne fut plus faux que cela!

En effet Delta ne s'appelait pas Delta au début, cad en Janvier 2021, lorsqu'il apparut, c'était un VOC , un variant of concern.

Quant à Omicron et ses "fils" leur taux de #mortalité et de morbidité sont 200 fois inférieurs au SARS2 - qui je le rappelle n'était guère plus dangereux que la grippe! (4).
ll est démontrable et démontré que ce #vaccin #ARN n'a jamais fonctionné, et quand on sait les problèmes techniques non résolus de cette technologie ARN (5), ce produit a en plus, fait de la casse... beaucoup de casse.
Entre la fraude systématique de la mortalité ARN cachée car on n'est compté comme vacciné que 3 semaines après l'injection, et les effets secondaires aussi graves que chroniques qui se comptent en % pour un danger qui se comptait en 1/300.000.. ces ARN ont fait pire que le mal!

Donc Dr Defraigne, et messieurs/dames les journaleux - fermez-la! - Mille fois non!
C'est juste une question de décence humaine!
