For example, while your Meshtastic device doesn't have an IMSI and does not communicate with cell towers, it does have a unique identifier that it broadcasts with every packet. If you associate that identifier with other data about you, such as geolocation or messages in public channels, or even by using the same device at home, you can be exposing yourself to similar risks as if you simply took your phone. This is the entrance to the bathrooms at Moynihan Station around 5:30pm on Saturday. Women's room on the right, men's room on the left. I used the men's room, there was no line.

We've known for decades that there are plenty of legitimate reasons for women to take more space and time in bathrooms than men. If there's a bathroom built in this century that has a line for women but not for men, especially with more than a dozen women, the architect who signed off on it should never work again.

It’s tough not to fume over the “peaceful protest” call for a “sit-down wave” at this Saturday’s “No Kings” rallies, such as one that asserts: if you see so-called infiltrators “destroy[ing] property,” “sit down and leave the provocators” standing. That’s how the self-appointed leaders of these nonprofit-corporate “ally” demos uphold a status quo that benefits them. In practice, it means anyone not falling in liberal line will get the brunt of police violence and state repression.

Enough fuming. My anarcho-prefigurative self says: outorganize the “peace police”! #BeGayMakeFun! Alongside bringing many zines to gift out at these rallies: Set up carnivesque “no kings, no masters” participatory games! Bring screen-printing supplies (stencils, silk screens, or even humble potatoes carved with printable slogans) and let folks print your rebellious designs on T-shirts, patches, or cardboard! Create playful shield-making art station! Become snack faeries, carting around yummy treats in wagons to freely distro! Do some rebel street theater or radical cheerleading! Bring a queer rebel marching band or amplified music, and start a street dance!

Anarchism is not just good politics; make it good fun, and when folks are drawn to you, anarchism will not only be welcoming but irresistible too. Plus, who knows, maybe you can joyfully teach people how do a “stand-up wave” against the real provocateurs (cops).

Six Freedom Flotilla Volunteers En Route to Airport for Deportation; Two Remain in Israeli Custody

After more than 72 hours in #Israeli custody following the #unlawful interception of the Madleen Freedom Flotilla in international waters on Sunday night 8 June, Israeli immigration authorities informed Adalah’s lawyers that six volunteers are now being transferred to Ben Gurion Airport for deportation.

The six volunteers expected to be deported today or early tomorrow morning are: Mark van Rennes (The #Netherlands), Suayb Ordu ( #Turkey), Yasemin Acar ( #Germany), Thiago Avila ( #Brazil), Reva Viard ( #France), and Rima Hassan ( #France). So far, Adalah lawyers are facing difficulties visiting them at the airport.

Two other volunteers, Pascal Maurieras (France) and Yanis Mhamdi (France), remain in custody at Givon Prison, under the authority of the Israel Prison Service, awaiting their deportation tomorrow, 13 June, afternoon. They will be seen by their lawyers today.

While in custody, volunteers were subjected to #mistreatment, punitive measures, and #aggressive treatment, and two volunteers were held for some period of time in solitary confinement. Adalah protested this inhumane treatment to the Israeli authorities and demanded that it cease.

Adalah calls for the immediate release of all eight volunteers and for their safe passage to their home countries. Their continued detention and forced deportation are unlawful and a part of #EVIL #Israel’s ongoing #violations of international law."

Für Segal war es völlig egal wessen Tod er da postete und seine Follower feierten.

Für die israelische Armee wars einfach ein Mann an einem Ort an dem sie als "evakuiert" erklärt haben. Mohammed al-Farra konnte bestimmt nicht weggehen. Für die israelische Armee bedeutete das, er ist ein Ziel. Völlig egal wer das war.

Final verdict came through on this today, with the anonymity finally lifted on the names of the two soldiers, both revealed to be already deceased. Don't have an non pay wall article for the latest, but the crux of it was delivered in December. My niece's family have campaigned for 50 years to get the truth and had to face the indignity of seeing their 15 year old boy smeared as a trouble maker and hood, all because he had the nerve to walk while Catholic.
