During a war I think rebuilding homes is not the top priority to the government unfortunately (and if it was, Israel would probably just bomb it again). Also, do you really think anyone internationally would notice, if not everyone who was impacted is taken care of? @leomas im not concerned with talking in general about governments. as for would people internationally notice... im not sure what your point is. are we owed a report that we can approve or disapprove of? the support for the IR among the people there is only relevant factor. but if need data, you can look to the world bank who in spite of their bias will confirm poverty in Iran is a fraction of what it was pre-revolution. finally, (sorry i addressed all your points backwards--at work and my comp/phone are blowing up since the war started) whether it happens during the war, after the war, is again not something i made any claim to nor do i see the relevance, but sure. you are probably right that it won't the top priority at the moment. I looked through the openknowledge website on Iran and most general reports are at least 10 years old and the 2024 Economic monitor didn't sound great in the headings (I'm not that fast of a reader). I disagree with the judgement thing, while we obviously don't have full context for Iran's circumstances, I still think we should always challenge and judge power as much as possible to try and always push humanity further towards harmonious living and aiding each other, no matter where they live. The sanctions point is fair, but I think counting on Oil for Iran's economy was a bad move, which could have been in my opinion at least partly caused by the religious influence, if you want I can elaborate. Finally, the article (because of the sanctions I'il take it not being recent): It does seem like a mixed bag (I tried my best to ignore the neolib bullshit, but please correct me if some slipped in), while the poverty rates have developed positively, I do think the inequality they mentioned between ages (in employment) and sexes (hopefully don't have to elaborate) is a bad indicator for future development (not just economically, but also in society), so more nouanced than I was, my bad. Also, is the poverty rate indicator static? I feel like that should be adjusted over time. The last paragraph I just agree with.

I'm still running an RX580 8GB from 2017 and I do just fine, almost anything newer than that can play stuff like Ninja Gaiden 2 on high with no problem. GPU compatibility isn't too big of a issue these days, any mother board from the past 5 years should not have an issue with any GPU from the past 5 years
gpu is probably the easiest. only two choices and just get the best you can afford while using +60% of your whole pc budget.
cpu and motherboard is much harder. i would recommend a AMD Ryzen 9000 series X3D CPU that fits in a Zen 5 motherboard because they have a very long life cycle (at least zen 4 did) unlike Intel so you can upgrade the CPU in +5 years without changing the motherbord.

this would be my non final first recommendation. 6600 is more than double the performance. you could reduce to 16GB ram but DDR4 is so cheap and windows is bloated. also maybe cheaper case.
if you can get a RX 580 8GB then do that, its slightly faster than 1060 and you get 2GB vram more. probably a good idea to create your whole build on pcpartpicker to see if everything fits and easily share that for advice.

Honestly maybe check around and see if you can get a 6700xt used for a decent price. the 12GB is probably going to go a long way. Though maybe the 580 is the play for now and then you can just upgrade the gpu at a later date for a 9060xt and call it a day, I don't think the 5800X is going to bottleneck a 9060xt anyways.
@Spooke @poopernova do take another look at each parts tho since i just quickly picked what fits the budget. you don't need to pick the exactly manufacturer for example the SSD you might get a cheaper 1TB one or different B550 board depending on the feature you want (like build in WLAN or more USB ports).

@DarkMahesvara @poopernova just go to an elecftronics recycler and get some ewaste case if it's a generic sized box that'll fit your parts. If you make your own case you're still going to have to buy a front IO adapter. Unless you don't want front io usb ports on your pc case.
@Spooke @poopernova the CPU fan Thermalright Peerless Assassin is for sure good. everything else you can really pick and choose whatever is the cheapest you can get. DDR4 +3600MHZ 2x16GB ram, +1TB SSD, +650W gold rated PSU. only thing you really have to actually look at are the B550 motherboards if there is anything you want or prefer.
@Spooke @poopernova i would also recommend getting a 2TB HDD as a backup for the SSD that you can also use for other files that don't need SSD speed like videos.
with only 100$ your not gonna get a real good board but good enough for your budget. you can always upgrade to a better CPU later as long as it fits into AM4 socket like the very good Ryzen 5800X3D.
@DarkMahesvara @Spooke Never cheap out on the PSU, it's the one part of the computer that could physically damage components or even set your house on fire if it fails badly, make sure to do your research on a good PSU, as not even the brand is always a reliable indicator
@poopernova @Spooke you can't really properly test them without special equipment that costs a lot. an in a lot of cases a bad PSU either just dies quickly or can even kill other components.

It should say 5800x but I uh changed it to see if he could cheap out on cost.
@Spooke @poopernova yes but as long as you buy it retail it will probably be somewhat up to date that F14 bios version is from 2022. im not certain but i think you can still boot and update bios even if it is out of date with bios flashback feature.
@DarkMahesvara It's motherboard dependent but most ATX sized motherboards will have at least one slot for a GPU, often with mutliple slots, they have a newer version of PCI express as well but it's backwards compatible so older GPUs with older PCI-E slots will work fine
