Currently, as well as historically. This is an economic thing and military-alliance thing. I guess cultural too. And these countries are all on the same side with respect to each of the three.
@benda I don't understand any other European language except for Norwegian. Norway is a little different because they're a neutral country. But I think the rest of Europe is actually pretty torn about the situation in Israel. And nobody seems to understand it. Is it just Israel against the Palestinians? The Iranians? Or just the Muslim world as a whole? Nobody really knows. And the US isn't as cavalier about what genocide means like Europe is for obvious reasons.
