The violation of human rights is blatant. Mistreatment, torture and assasination of women and LGTBQ+ persons.
Iran ceased to be a civilization after 1953. After the intervention of the CIA.

in reply to David • • •@DBG3D that's an internal contradiction for the people of Iran to resolve themselves. Values cannot be imposed on a society from outside. That logic is basically the colonial missionary mindset.
It's also worth keeping in mind that Iran was socialist and progressive until CIA fuckery put an end to that. The reason the Middle East is the way it is entirely due to western meddling.

LGTBQ+ is not a fashion. We exists since the dawn of time and pursued since them, so there is no impossition of values. Is defense of the human rights. Iran is violating exactly that.

in reply to David • • •@DBG3D again, my point is that attempts to do things like regime changes and force culture on people does not work. We have plenty of evidence of this now. This is an internal contradiction for people of Iran to solve.
Meanwhile, the west very clearly does not give a flying fuck about human rights in general. It's a civilization fundamentally built on war and exploitation. You can't just consider rights of a single group while ignoring the rest.

I have to remind you that we were persecuted by the Nazis with almost more virulence than the Jews.
That even today there are countries where we are executed? Or we are persecuted, like Russia and China, which are super Western. 😒

I was not talking about that.
LGTBIQ+ people is even recognized as valuable members of the Indian American tribes (maybe not for all the right reasons...). And we were present even in Chalomagne times. He was gay.
We ARE NOT VALUES, we ARE PEOPLE like you or anyone else.
