I use a pipewire w/ qjackctl to connect Ardour to my speakers and midi keyboard. I do this on fedora Linux.

That was an error on my part with Zen Postbox. It will be fixed in version 1.3.
The loading of the postbox stylesheet in 1.2 is tied to the availability of the Jot/Compose window I think, so it doesn't load that stylesheet anywhere that modal isn't shown. I'm moving it to a separate hook in the <head> element so it loads regardless, even when you're not logged in.

We can all collectively thank Reagan, among other terrible things we have to deal with today due to his administration, he is also responsible for the state of news media in the US in 2025. Previous to Reagan we had a policy called The Fairness Doctrine, it was a policy introduced in 1949, that required the holders of broadcast licenses both to present controversial issues of public importance and to do so in a manner that fairly reflected differing viewpoints. Broadcasters could show opposing viewpoints via option pieces, news segments or talk shows, but if they reported on one side they were required to show the other.
In 1987 under Reagan the FCC abolished the Fairness Doctrine. Broadcasters were no longer required to air apposing viewpoints of controversial topics. This has directly lead to the echo chambers that you see in the news media today.
The unprovoked attacks on Iran were not that successful but it sent a clear message to Iran that the US and Israel are lawless rabid dogs, and that it would, in fact, be safer to be nuclear armed because bullshit like this wouldn't happen.
How many times has the US bombed North Korea since they acquired nukes?

So I am playing through Paper Mario TTYD on my Switch for the first time. I never played these games growing up, and while I kinda enjoyed the Super Mario RPG remake for its quirkiness, I strongly believe that if you don’t have specific nostalgia for it, it just doesn’t hit the same.
TTYD is great. It’s so fun and captures a sense of adventure, with big swings from light hearted comedy into some dark territories. I was not expecting that, but I absolutely was not expecting just how horny everyone seems to be for Marty-o!
All the ladies swoon and mention how manly he is, commenting on his moustache. I was not expecting this coming from a Nintendo game. It’s pretty funny and I love it!

This project is coming along nicely.
A modified Barracuda in the wild.
It will be my OPNsense router for my new business location. I very much enjoy piecing together old hardware to make something useful or interesting.
The chassis is a salvaged Barracuda BSF200a appliance. Stripped most of what was in there out, leaving the power supply. Replaced the motherboard with Gigabyte GA-H77N-WIFI - this was chosen due to the dual GbE network ports.
Low profile cooler (heatsink) came from a SuperMicro motherboard combo that I ordered from ebay. Kingston 120GB SSD came from local recycling.
Processor is i3-3220T - a lower power option than the processor that I originally got with the motherboard.
Blower fan is from a Dell Optiplex SFF machine, placed upside down, cushioned with foam and hot-glued in place.
It is a thoroughly custom solution built from parts I acquired from many sources.

I haven't done much on opnsense yet. Just got it installed on the machine pictured. So I have no experience with ip sec or opnvpn yet.
I plan to get more familiar with it once it is installed in our new location.
I ended up not being able to use this as my router, as the ethernet ports on this motherboard would not accept an IP address from the ISP's DHCP.
A Dell Optiplex 3010 with a SuperMicro ethernet expansion card is the hardware that replaced it.

Stuck with MS Teams at $DAYJOB, I continue to hold onto the thick-client instead of succumbing to the heavy-weight web client.
Just about every time I switch to the app after a couple hours of not using it, it pops up a "This is unsupported" interruption with a link to learn more, HUGE, colorful "Try it on the web" button, and a smaller light "continue using this antiquated unsupported piece of junk" type button.
As if that wasn't bad enough, as dark patterns go, when you tab through the controls, focus lands on the "more information" link and on the "try it on the web" button, but the "continue using this" simply won't focus with the keyboard. You HAVE to reach for the mouse to click the "continue using this"
