The concept of secure boot and the TPM and BitLocker and all that stuff is somewhere between protection against hackers with hands on access to your system, protection against rootkits infecting the boot sector, protecting the average amateur end user from themselves doing something dumb, and keeping you in the Micro$haft ecosystem.

If you're fairly comfortable that none of these should be a significant risk to you, then I'd say disable it and do whatever you want with your own system without all the headaches.

Something like TeXstudio, but for markdown?

On occasion, I'll have to work with markdown files, sometimes with inline LaTeX. I'm surprised how limited my options are, or I'm looking in the wrong places. Pandoc does the job, but the lack of a integrated graphical workflow isn't my cup of tea.

Has anyone found a good graphical markdown editor that can handle inline LaTeX and doesn't pull a gigabyte of dependencies? Preferably also can render the final output to PDF.

Iran has bombed our ships, our bases, terrorist attacks all over the West, killed our soldiers and civilians. They threatened the President's life. It's not only in the National Interest, but also in Trump's interest, same with removing gangs and terrorists. Did anybody even get killed in this attack? This is a HUGE problem, for the climate hysterics, as all their predictions went out the window. They NEEDED the Arctic and Antarctic to keep warming and losing ice.

The Antarctic getting colder and gaining ice represents a complete rejection of their CO2 warming conjecture. As with the "missing heat" from 1998 to 2014, they claim that this is "just a temporary trend change" and that warming will continue shortly, but that's just the thing - the cooling periods invalidate all their claims. They weren't supposed to happen and do not show up in their models, i.e. the hypotheses underlying their models are wrong.

Berman said he co-authored a similarly named study in a different journal - Toxicological Sciences - that came to different conclusions than those suggested by Redwood.

"We did not examine the effects of thimerosal in microglia... I do not endorse this misrepresentation of the research," he said.

Reuters is the first to report on the inaccurate citation from Redwood's planned presentation.

I was a latchkey kid growing up, and spent two years getting off a bus and hanging out at the local library after school until my mom got out of work and picked me up.
