Jalapeno bacon potatoes au gratin

I pickled/canned about four pounds each of jalapenos and carrots. But I had some peppers left over. Also I had shredded cheese leftover from yesterday's burritos, and half a pound of bacon from yesterday's dinner.

Well that sounds like the start of a wonderful dinner. Poppers would have been too much work. I have a bag of potatoes... Oh. Let's do this. Jalapeno bacon potatoes au gratin.

Cost for pickled peppers: $1.30 per pint
Cost per person for dinner: $3.40 (realistically I ate two full servings so this should really be $1.70 each for four people.)

So many people still believe in the safety and efficacy of vaccines, despite being exposed as a way to line the pockets of the big companies that make and promote them.

Statistically, there's more risk from side effects in taking a vaccine than getting the disease that vaccine was supposed to prevent.

I...can someone explain to me what it means when all Democrats can talk about is how scared they are of Republicans?

Larry Summers (seriously he’s still around?), a guy from a self-described “centrist” group called Third Way. And the 3rd quote they got? It was “Republicans Against Trumpism.” REPUBLICANS!
