When this case first came out, I was talking to a relatively senior Finnish journalist about freedom of the press in Finland. We came to the conclusion that Finland's then best in the world ranking on press freedom was entirely down to the fact that the press had never wanted anything that the government wasn't ok with having in the papers. The Finnish national security bureaucracy does and must not be above the constraints of international human rights law, and must not be permitted to either constrain a priori or decide post hoc what is in the national interests. Other platforms offer this feature, but Mastodon is the only one that has this turned on by default. This results in Mastodon server admins having to shell out thousands of dollars each month in #S3 hosting costs for no reason whatsoever.
There are much better alternative instance platforms than Mastodon.
A year or two ago I came across the advice to never believe *any* thought you have about your life after 9pm, and that has helped me avert or break out of I-don't-know-how-many doom and gloom spirals since then.

If U are physically weak when U get old, no matter how far U can walk, if U are not strong but weak, then U have a higher risk of a negative spiral
Where U get periods of pain so U have to lay down for says, sometimes more than a week. When that happens U will loose muscle mass, ergo Ur muscle will get shorter
So U get a little bit better but due to muscle mass U have problem moving and the pain comes back

Exactly. I was in bad condition when I started this journey with just push ups.
But 2 things. first I had no idea how weak I had become. Second it was reall heavy the first weeks but soon it got easier and I was never expecting this. But after 1 year I broke the records of my youth in some compound moves.
Now I train all year around and my work feels less tiresome. I feel stronger, lighter and have more energy
And this is the best part, push ups only takes like 1 minute.

How are universities and centres of research & learning involved?
Sometimes their contribution is financial and material. (Viz. EU Horizon money channelled to zionist entities; research for weapons and surveillance tools.)
But universities' role is also, especially, ideological. Offering respectability and legitimacy to entities that are in truth neither respectable nor legitimate.

Recommendations! The UN Special Rapporteur urges Member States (so, including the Netherlands):
To impose sanctions and a full arms embargo on Israel, including all existing agreements and dual-use items such as technology and civilian heavy machinery; 2. To suspend or prevent all trade agreements and investment relations, and impose sanctions, including asset freezes, on entities and individuals involved in activities that may endanger the Palestinians;
To enforce accountability, ensuring that corporate entities face legal consequences for their involvement in serious violations of international law.
For corporate entities (that includes Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Palantir, Booking, etc.), the UN Special Rapporteur recommends:
To promptly cease all business activities and terminate relationships directly linked with, contributing to and causing human rights violations and international crimes against the Palestinian people, in accordance with international corporate responsibilities and the law of self-determination;
To pay reparations to the Palestinian people, including in the form of an apartheid wealth tax along the lines of post-apartheid South Africa.
Trade unions, workers and others in civil society have a role, too.
Francesca Albanese urges people in these groups:
'... to press for boycotts, divestments, sanctions, justice for Palestine and accountability at the international and domestic levels; together, the people of the world can end these unspeakable crimes.''
Albanese's closing note in From economy of occupation to economy of genocide:
'Globally witnessed atrocities require urgent accountability and justice, which demand diplomatic, economic and legal action against those who have maintained and profited from an economy of occupation turned genocidal.
