I know what "spoonie" means but I don't use the term for myself.
One reason is I don't think it describes the issue of post-exertional malaise (PEM) in ME/CFS very well. So it doesn't fit my situation.
Another reason is that some folks without any disability use the term "spoons" as a generic term for whether they have mental or physial energy to do an activity.
