Das ist insbesondere bei den sogenannten Old Boys Networks (als Beispiel etwa der Andenpakt der CDU) anders. Wobei gerade dieses Beispiel zeigt, dass ein Männernetzwerk mit wichtigen Entscheidern allein noch nicht wirksam ist – und von einer einzelnen Frau durchaus "besiegt" werden kann.
