Haidar Eid’s "Banging on the Walls of the Tank" reveals a disturbing but irrefutable reality: the world has abandoned the Palestinian people to be annihilated as a people in the most calculated and brutal fashion possible.

Chicago Anarcho-Feminists (1971): "The intelligence of womankind has at last been brought to bear on such oppressive male inventions as the church and the legal family; it must now be brought to reevaluate the ultimate stronghold of male domination, the State. . .

We believe that a Woman’s Revolutionary Movement must not mimic, but destroy, all vestiges of the male-dominated power structure, the State itself—with its whole ancient and dismal apparatus of jails, armies, and armed robbery (taxation); "with all its murder; with all of its grotesque and repressive legislation and military attempts, internal and external, to interfere with people’s private lives and freely-chosen cooperative ventures."

Ultimately what worries me the most is that the majority of bitcoiners haven't been truly tested. How you behaved during COVID is a fairly good indicator as to how far you are willing to go. In the war that comes, and it is ahead of us, you will be cut off completely and our own systems will have to stand alone. We will have to build the circular economy and the threat of violence will be thick in the air. The uncertainty will return and sadly a hard fork will also attempt to tear us apart. There is a journey ahead of us to be sure.

I've heard that a publisher usually isn't worth it unless the publisher has an active fanbase for a particular style of game that your game fits.

it's also possible to hire PR people, and then that way you're able to get more PR while still retaining full control and rights etc over your game, I can't say whether it's worthwhile or anything though because I've never been able to afford that.

'We're Not the Same People Anymore': IDF Soldiers Reveal What No Israeli Wants to Hear About Months of Fighting in Gaza

Sent into #Gaza straight from high school, five young #Israel conscripts describe the brutal, exhausting reality of the war with #Hamas – a world of despair, rage and crippling fear, with no end in sight

"Soldiers interviewed are handpicked by commanders and #IDF spokespersons and thoroughly briefed on what they can and cannot say. And so, reporters return with the same clichés: "This is a generation of lions," they declare. "Morale is sky-high."

But active-duty army soldiers who spoke to Haaretz in recent months paint a very different picture...

They describe mounting exhaustion, severe physical and psychological strain, and a constant fear that they'll be the next to have their names released as fallen."

HÜZÜNLÜ BİR AŞK HİKAYESİ ; GAM ZEDEYİM DEVA BULMAM...
Tüm şarkıların bir hikayesi vardır...
"Gamzede’yim Deva Bulmam."
Şarkısı da bu tür şarkılardan biridir...
Hemen belirtelim, Gam-zede, üzüntü sebebiyle kötü duruma düşmüş anlamındadır.
Hikayenin kahramanı Kemani Tatyos Efendi’nin kendi cemaatinden çocukluk aşkı bir sevdiği varmış.
Aile o tarihlerde Erivan’a göç ettiğinden evlenememişler.

Gamzede’yim deva bulmam,
Garibim bir yuva kurmam,
Kaderimdir hep çektiren,
İnlerim hiç reha bulmam.
Elem beni terketmiyor,
Hiç de fasıla vermiyor,
Nihayetsiz bu takibe,
Doğrusu ta'kât yetmiyor.
Ehl-i dilin yoktur kadri,

Kaderimsin inan benim.
Ta'kât yetişmez eleme,
Bülbül imrenir çileme.
Bizim şu kara sevdamız,
Kalsın öteki aleme.

"Not then, not now, never again fascism
Never forget Srebrenica genocide"

Mural in Amsterdam of Potočari cemetery featuring the names of different Bosnian towns and cities with the corresponding estimated amount of victims.

Almost 30 years has passed since Europe was shaken by the genocide of more than 8000 muslim boys and men in the Bosnian city of Srebrenica, at the hands of Bosnian Serb troops during an operation of ethnic cleansing, witnessed by UN peacekeeping troops who failed resoundingly in their protection mission.

In the midst of the conflict in the Balkans during the 1990’s, the small city of Srebrenica, in Eastern Bosnia, was established as a “safe area” by the UN for civilians fleeing fights between Bosnian government and separatist Serb forces, during the breakup of Yugoslavia.

On 11 July 1995, Serb forces attacked Srebrenica lead by Bosnian Serb General Ratko Mladić, conducting a ten-day operation to take over Srebrenica and subject it to ethnic cleansing. More than 8000 people were killed, mainly Bosnian muslim boys and men.

Several people injured in second night of anti-migrant riots in Spanish town

Several people were hurt in a second night of anti-migrant unrest in the town of Torre Pacheco in south-east Spain after a pensioner was beaten up, authorities said.

Despite a major police presence, groups armed with batons roamed the streets looking for people with foreign origins, the regional newspaper La Opinión de Murcia reported.

The regional government did not say how many people were injured but stated that at least one person had been arrested over the violence.

The unrest erupted after a 68-year-old man told Spanish media he was beaten up in the street on Wednesday by three young people of north African origin. The attack was filmed and put on social media.
