in reply to anonymiss • • •This might actually do some good. LLMs bullshit (make stuff up when they don't know the answer) all the time. That's a big problem for everyone who uses them. If you take the time to fact-check them as much as you should, they use up more time than they save. In other words, they're not useless; they're somewhat worse than useless.
So fine them when they bullshit. Hell, fine them if they say something you don't like. Ruin Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, and Meta. I won't be sorry to see them go.

There are freedoms guaranteed in human rights, such as freedom of the press and the right to physical integrity. But what happens when the press calls for war? Which freedom then dominates?

Or make your own chatbot that agrees with you about everything.
Same with Meta. If you don't like what you read on Facebook and Instagram, stop reading it.
I think what he and others want is not to be publicly disagreed with. If that's what you want, you'll just have to live somewhere other than the USA. We've always teased, laughed at, and otherwise disrespected our elected government officials. That's not going to change.
