I don’t know quite what such people are expected to do. On the one hand we feel great societal opprobrium over the sexual abuse of children. Yet our society simultaneously has an attitude of near-sanctification towards anyone who can claim to be an asylum seeker. They too must be regarded as victims who are so deserving of our sympathies that the rest of us should pay for them to be put up in hotels until such a time as their asylum claims can be adjudged. Or until the Home Office system loses sight of them. Whichever happens first. So there are competing values at play.

Im Vergleich zum gesamten (abgespeckten) Warenkorb, der für die Berechnung der Armutsgrenze verwendet wird, stiegen sie unter Milei um 19,2 %, nachdem sie unter der Vorgängerregierung um 31,8 % gefallen waren. Libertäre sind eben die wirklich Sozialen.
An den Renten sieht man die Bedeutung makroökonomischer Ordnung und eines konsistenten Finanzprogramms. Insgesamt stiegen die Renten unter Milei zwischen November 2023 und Mai 2025 real (gegen den gesamten Warenkorb) um 9,5 Prozent und der Haushalt war ausgeglichen.
Zwischen Dezember 2022 und November 2023 sanken unter der Vorgängerregierung die Renten um 30 % und es gab trotzdem ein Haushaltsdefizit von fast 5 % des BIP.

How many songs should be in the setlist of a headlining band? Mrs Obihahn and I are heading the to the county fair tonight to see a band, and I checked setlist.fm to see what they'll be playing. The show they did last night had 12 songs. It hardly seems worth the effort.
@slamy I know… the set time from last night’s show says 90 minutes. Must have had some chatter, and a few mins for an encore. And two of the songs listed are snippets from songs from other artists that a couple of the guys played with, so 12 songs is a stretch.
The thing is, these guys have a big enough library that they COULD do a good 16-18 song set over 90 mins or so if they really wanted to.
