I find myself blocking and muting more and more "liberal" and "democrat" voices here on the fediverse. Not because I've gone all John Fetterman and have secretly turned-into a raging conservative. Far from it. Still 100% Democratic Socialist.
But frankly I'm getting sick of the same old tropes over and over and over again filling up my timeline.
The Democratic party is fucked. Everyone knows it. It's a party that would much rather continue to placate its establishment than actually do something.
The old guard should be lifting up the younger voices coming into the party, not stifle and stymie them.

But the next election isn't until next year. What Dems should be doing now is preparing for that next election and calling out Donald Trump's bullshit (and the bullshit of everyone that supports him).
