App for downsizing MP3s automatically when copying to a phone?

I'm ditching streaming services and just going with local music. However all my CDs are converted to either flac or 320kbps files on my PC and thus far too large for the limited storage I have on my phone.

I was hoping there might be an app that would automatically downconvert to something like 128kbps and then copy over to the Music directory on my phone. A bit like how Calibre can automatically convert eBook files (e.g. mobi to epub) and then send them to your ereader?

This might be a bit overkill for what you want but you could try using a selfhosted music server like navidrome and streaming to your phone. I use symfonium on on phone which can be configured to request the streamed music to be transcoded to a smaller size for streaming from mobile network or for caching it on your phones storage for offline listening.

Given that symfonium supports a lot of self hosted media providers from which to pull, you could also try sharing your music locally using samba. I'm not sure if the transcoding still works in that case though (it would obviously have to be done on your phone)

If your files are flac and you just want to.copy some files you could try Mp3fs

That'll make your files appear to be MP3 when you access them

You could them use a file transfer mechanism to read them from the mp3fs location onto your phone with - kinda - one step.

Finally finished season 2 and I gotta say, I've watched lesbian porn less gay than this. I genuinely have zero idea how to explain any of Brooklynn and Soyona's actions toward each other, besides that Brooklyn is seduced by Soyona and her lifestyle, and Soyona finds it lonely at the top and thinks having a college-aged girlfriend wouldn't be such a bad thing. If you keep reincarnating into new bodies then you will still potentially experience thinking

Thought dump post again.
I really wish there was a solid alternative to Forza Horizon. Open world arcade racing with tons of mini-objectives and just fun alternate goals to reach. The Crew certainly isn't that even if I were willing to give money to ubisoft for bragging about killing The Crew 1. Hell if I could I'd want to make an alternative myself.
I grabbed Forza Horizon 4 when it was put on delisting sale and it was a good time weirdly enough. I mean, the writing was bad but besides that. It left me wanting for an alternative title, something similar in concept but with a bunch of alternative ideas. Preferably not in a festival setting where everyone acts way too joyous to ever dare even suggest your driving was bad.

Something else also caught my interest when it came to the game, that being multiplayer. Not as in racing against each other, rather the fact others could show up in the world doing stuff of their own while you were working on your own goals. I always like those kinds of small interactions in multiplayer.

Also the online decal system is something I will never dislike. During my play I found a really good Suwako decal online for the Sprite Mk1 which instantly made it into my go to car whenever I wanted to play around. Even more fun was seeing other people's decals as a random run-in happened. Sometimes I'd just find a guy rocking some cute decal and start thinking about how to get that car and decal for myself.

I'm using the #Tusky #Mastodon client, and when I load my instance, I get the little pooped mastodon with "An error occurred" for the home timeline. Notifications, the local timeline, and direct messages all load fine, just not the home timeline. Before I file a ticket, does anyone know why this is happening, and whether it might be server- or client-side? "An error occurred" is not a lot to go on.
